My Little Brave

Chapter 15

In the Everfree Forest, Rarity was running as fast as she could while Big Mac, and the other ponies chased after her. When she entered the Ring of Stones, she tripped, and fell onto the ground. Before she could recover, Big Mac, and the other ponies surrounded, and captured her. They tied her up. On the other side of the forest, Rainbow Dash had finished sewing the tapestry as she said "Done!" Suddenly, Derpy Hooves stopped as she spotted a trail of will-o-wisps, and said "Rainbow Dash, look!" "Let's go!" Rainbow Dash said as Derpy Hooves followed the trail, unaware of Discord watching them. At the Ring of Stones, Big Mac walked up to Rarity, and took out his sword. But, before he can strike her, Rainbow Dash appeared, and stopped him by shooting the sword with her bow and arrow as she said "Get back! That's my mother!" "Are you out of your mine, sweetheart?!" Big Mac asked in shock as Rainbow Dash held her weapon up agaisnt him. She looked at her mother, and said "Mom, are you hurt?!" Rarity shook her head no as Big Mac shoved his daughter out of the way, and prepared to strike his bear wife. But Rainbow Dash quickly took out her sword, and stopped him.

"Rainbow Dash!" Big Mac said as Rainbow Dash pushed her father back. "I'll not let you kill my mother!" She said. Suddenly, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scooraloo jumped on him as their sister said "Girls!" They got off of their father who stared in confusion, and said "Girls?!" At that moment, Discord appeared, and growled at them as Rainbow Dash said "Discord!" Big Mac looked at Fancy Pants, Flash Sentry, and Dr. Whooves, and said "Kill it!" The clan lords, and Big Mac went after Discord, and attacked him, but the evil bear overpowered them, and captured Rainbow Dash who tried shooting at him with the arrows up to no avail. Discord roared loudly as Rainbow Dash screamed in terror. Rarity then broke free of the ropes, and attacked Discord. They pushed and shoved against each other with all of their might, and Discord smacked Rarity as Rainbow Dash said "Mom!!" Finally, Rarity smashed Discord against the stone pillar, and it fell down, crushing Discord instantly. Just then, the spirit of Prince Artemis appeared, and nodded to Rarity and Rainbow Dash as he said "Thank you." He then faded away as the sun started to rise.

"The second sunrise!" Rainbow Dash said as she quickly took the mended tapestry, and threw it around Rarity. Rainbow Dash waited anixously for the change, but much to her dismay, nothing was happening. "Oh no!" She said. "I don't understand! I-!" She then broke down in tears, and knelt down in front of her mother as she said "Oh, mom, I'm sorry. This is all my fault. I did this to you. To us." She hugged Rarity as tears ran down her face, and said "You've always been there for me. You've never given up on me. I just need you back! I want you back, mommy! I love you." Everypony around her and Rarity started to feel sorry for them. Even the cutie mark crusader princess bears started to cry for their mother, and sister. As the sunrise washed over them, Rainbow Dash suddenly felt a hoof touch her mane, and she gasped as she looked up to see her mother who had turned back into a unicorn. They shared a happy hug as Rainbow Dash said "Mom! You're back! You've changed!" Rarity smiled, and said "Oh, darling. We both have." They hugged again as Big Mac ran over to them, and hugged them as he said "Rarity!" "Oh dear!" Rarity said with a smile.

Just then, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo who had turned back into foals ran to their mother as they said "Mommy!" "Oh my little darlings!" Rarity said as she, Rainbow Dash, and Big Mac hugged them. Later that day, Rainbow Dash and her family bidded Fancy Pants, Flash Sentry, and Dr. Whooves as well as their sons farewell as they sailed in their boats, and went back to their respective homes. Big Mac spent his time playing with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo while Rainbow Dash and Rarity spent their time together, making their bond stronger than it ever was before. In the end, Rainbow Dash learned that sometimes, one's destiny lies within themselves. They just have to be brave enough to see it.
