After Rainbow Dash finished making her speech, Fancy Pants, Dr. Whooves, and Flash Sentry started shedding happy tears as Dr. Whooves said "Beautiful." "The queen and I put the decision to you my lords." Rainbow Dash said. "Might our young ponies decide for themselves who they will love?" "Huh?" Dr. Whooves asked in confusion. "Well, since you've obviously made up your minds about this, I have one thing to say." Fancy Pants said. "This is-!" Sunset Glare interrupted him as he said "A grand idea! Give us our own say in choosing our fates." "What?" Fancy Pants asked. "Yeah!" Hayseed Turnip Truck said. "Why shouldn't we choose?" "But, she's the princess!" Dr. Whooves said. "I didn't pick her out." Hayseed Turnip Truck said. "It was your idea." Flash Sentry looked at Soarin, and said "And you, do you feel the same way?" Soarin nodded, and said "I do." Rainbow Dash giggled as Flash Sentry said "Well, that's it. Let these stallions try to win her heart before they win her hoof, if they can." "I say Hayseed Turnip Truck has a fighting chance!" Dr. Whooves said. "Fine then!" Fancy Pants said. "Seems for once we agree. It was my idea in the first place." Big Mac looked at his daughter as he said "Just like your mom, you devil."

Rainbow Dash smiled, but then noticed that the pony guard was staring at Rarity who was still posing as a stuffed bear, and she turned to the crowd as she said "Everypony! To the cellar! Let's crack open the king's private reserves to celebrate!" Everypony cheered, and they all started heading for the cellar as Big Mac said "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!" He looked at one of his servants, and whispered "Bring the tiny glasses." The servant nodded, and they left the great hall. Rainbow Dash looked at her mother who unfroze herself, and did a little dance of joy. They shared a hug, but then realized that they had to mend the tapestry as Rainbow Dash said "The tapestry!" They went into the tapestry room, and Rainbow Dash touched the tear she made with her sword on the tapestry as she said "Mend the bond! Mend the bond! Stitched up! This will change you back, we just need the needle and thread!" Rarity nodded, and started searching the drawers for the needle and thread, but then, her wild bear instincts kicked in, and she started to become a real bear as Rainbow Dash said "Mom! Mom, not now! No! Please, not now!" Rainbow Dash then heard Big Mac's laughter, and singing, and quickly covered her mother's mouth to keep her quiet. When Big Mac went past the door, Rainbow Dash started to take down the torn tapestry.

Big Mac then went up to Rarity's bedroom door, and knocked on it as he said "Rarity, dear, you'll never guess who just solved our little problem!" When he opened the door, he gasped in shock to see that it was a mess. He then looked down at the floor to see Rarity's torn up dress, and picked it up. His eyes widened in horror and dismay as he grew upset, and said "RARITY!!!!!!!" As it started to rain outside the castle, Big Mac ran out of the bedroom, and said "It can't be true! Rarity! Answer me, darling! Rarity!" He then opened the door to the tapestry room to see his daughter taking the tapestry down as he said "Rainbow Dash!" He then looked to see Rarity near her, but still isn't aware of the fact Rarity turned into a bear because of the cake she ate. "What?!" He asked. "Dad, no!" Rainbow Dash cried out. "It's not what you think!" "Rainbow Dash, get back!" Big Mac said as he pushed his daughter out of the way, and advanced towards Rarity who growled at him. "No!" Rainbow Dash said as Big Mac started to attack the bear. "No, dad! Don't hurt her!" She tried to stop her father, but he pushed her aside as Rarity scratched her hoof. She yelped in pain as Big Mac said "Rainbow Dash! No!" He prepared to strike Rarity, but she pushed him against the tapestry on the wall. "No!" Rainbow Dash cried out as Rarity finally snapped out of her wild behavior. "Mom!" Rarity noticed the scratch mark on her hoof, and she began to feel ashamed as her daughter said "It's alright. I'm alright. It's nothing! It's just a little scratch." Rarity then bolted out of the room as Rainbow Dash said "Mom!"
