Chapter 6

In a fit of rage, Rarity dragged Rainbow Dash back to the castle, and threw her into the tapestry room as she said "I don't believe you! I've just about had enough of you, Rainbow Dash!" "You're the one that want me to-!" Rainbow Dash tried to say, but Rarity interrupted her, and said "YOU embarrassed them! YOU embarrassed me!" "I followed the rules!" Rainbow Dash said. "You don't know what you've done!" Rarity said as she slammed the door shut. "I don't care how-!" Rainbow Dash tried to say, but Rarity interrupted her, and said "They'll be fire and sword if it's not set right!" Rarity said. "Just listen!" Rainbow Dash said. "I am the queen!" Rarity said. "YOU listen to me!" Rainbow Dash growled in rage, and said "OH! This is so unfair!" Rarity scoffed, and said "Huh! Unfair?!" "You were never there for me!" Rainbow Dash said. "This whole marriage is what you want! Do you ever bother to ask what I want?! NO! You walk around telling me what to do, what not to do! Trying to make me be like you! Well, I'm not going to be like you!" Rarity rolled her eyes, and said "Ach! You're acting like a foal!" "And you're a beast!" Rainbow Dash said as she took her sword, and pointed it at the family tapestry that Rarity was working on. "That's what you are!" Rarity gasped, and said "Rainbow Dash!" "I will never be like you!" Rainbow Dash said as she sticked the tip oh her sword into the tapestry. "No! Stop that!" Rarity said.

Rainbow Dash then sliced the tapestry in between her and her mother as she said "I'd rather die than be like you!" Rarity gasped in shock as Rainbow Dash glared at her. Rarity then snapped in anger as she threw her daughter's sword away, and took her bow away, and said "Rainbow Dash, YOU are a princess! And I expect you to act like one!" She then threw the bow into the fire in the fireplace as Rainbow Dash gasped in dismay. Rarity glared coldly at Rainbow Dash who choked up with sadness, and ran out of the room crying as her mother said "Rainbow Dash! Rainbow Dash!" Rarity then heard a noise, and gasped as she immediately pulled Rainbow Dash's bow out of the fireplace. She then started to regret what she had done as she looked at the half-burned bow. "Oh no! What have I done?!" She muttered sadly as she began crying. Outside, Rainbow Dash ran over to Derpy Hoof who said "What happened to you?" "DON'T ASK!" Rainbow Dash said as she jumped into the carriage while her voice cracked from sadness. "JUST TAKE ME AWAY FROM HERE!" "O-Okay then." Derpy Hoof said as she pulled the carriage out of the castle. As they went into the Everfree Forest, Rainbow Dash sobbed heavily as tears ran down her face. Suddenly, they were being hit by leaves on the tree branches, and Derpy Hoof stopped running, throwing Rainbow Dash off the carriage. She screamed as she fell, and landed on the ground. She recovered from her fall, glared at Derpy Hoof, and said "DERPY!"

"I-I'm sorry!" Derpy Hoof said. Rainbow Dash took a few deep breaths, and looked around in awe as she realized that they arrived at the Ring of Stones. She turned to see a will-o-wisp, and gasped in shock. She approached it, and tried to touch it, but it vanished into thin air. Then a trail of will-o-wisps appeared as if they were trying to lead Rainbow Dash somewhere. She looked at Derpy Hoof, and said "Come on, Derpy." Derpy Hoof shook her head in fear, and said "No!" "Derpy!" Rainbow Dash said in anger. "I'm sorry, but you're on your own!" Derpy Hoof said. Rainbow Dash sighed in exasperation, and followed the trail of will-o-wisps as they disappeared one by one. Derpy Hoof quickly changed her mind as she ran to catch up with Rainbow Dash, and said "Hey, wait up!" They followed the trail of the will-o-wisps until they came across a cottage. "Why would the wisps lead me here?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Beats me." Derpy Hoof said. Rainbow Dash walked up to the cottage door, and opened it. As she stepped inside, she looked around to see many wood carvings of bears. A zebra named Zecora who was carving a large piece of wood into a bear looked up at Rainbow Dash, and said "Oh, look around. You holler if you see anything you like. Everything is half off." "Uh...who are you?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Just a humble woodcarver." Zecora said as she finished carving a bear out of wood, and began sweeping the floor. "My name is Zecora."

As Rainbow Dash picked up a wooden pot that looked like a bear, she said "Um...I don't understand." Zecora got too close to Rainbow Dash, startling her, and said "See anything you like?" She pointed at a wooden seesaw, and said "Perhaps a touch of something like this to brighten any dark chamber." "But, the will-o-wisps, they lead me-." Rainbow Dash tried to say, but Zecora showed her a toy, and said "This is one of a kind. I'll make you a deal with this rare prize." Suddenly Rainbow Dash turned around to see Zecora's broom sweeping by itself, and said "Your broom!" Zecora stomped on her hoof, and the broom stopped sweeping. "It was sweeping by itself!" Rainbow Dash said. "That's ridiculous!" Zecora said. "Wood cannot be imbued with magical property. I should know, I'm a whistler of wood." She then showed Rainbow Dash a picture of two bears fighting made from wood, and said "How about this conversation starter?" Rainbow Dash looked at Zecora's crow, and Zecora said "That's stuffed." Rainbow Dash tried to touch the crow, but it snapped at her, and said "Stay off the crow!" Rainbow Dash gasped, and said "Aah! The crow's talking!" Zecora then stomped on her hoof, and the broom knocked the crow out.

Rainbow Dash gasped, and said "You're a magical zebra!" "Woodcarver!" Zecora said as she did many things to convince the princess that she's just a woodcarver. "That's why the wisp led me to you!" Rainbow Dash said. "Woodcarver!" Zecora said. "You'll change my fate!" Rainbow Dash said. "Woodcarver!" Zecora said. "You see, it's my mother." Rainbow Dash said. "I'm not a magical zebra!" Zecora said. "Too many unsatisfied customers. If you're not going to buy anything, get out!" She stomped on her hoof, and the knives pointed at Rainbow Dash who said "No, the wisps led me here!" "I don't care! Get out! Shoo! Get! Be gone with you!" Zecora said as the knives forced the princess out the door. "I'll buy it all!" Rainbow Dash said making the knives stop pointing at her. "What...What was that?" Zecora asked. "Every carving." Rainbow Dash said. The knifes floated away, and Zecora said "And how are you going to pay for that?" "With this." Rainbow Dash said as she took off her pendant necklace that Rarity gave to her before the games started. "Oh, my!" Zecora said smiling. "Lovely, that is." "That'll set up for months." Zecora's crow said. The knives fell to the floor as Zecora tried to take the necklace, but Rainbow Dash pulled it away, and said "Every carving and one spell." "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Zecora asked. Rainbow Dash nodded, and said "I want a spell to change my mom. That will change my fate." "Done." Zecora said as she gently took the necklace from Rainbow Dash.
