Pool Party Disaster

Catherine POV

It's been 4 weeks, since the encounter with Wisp. Nothing bad happened. Me and Alex swapped phone numbers so we can communicate more. It scares me to see how much I'm opening up. It took me 2 years to open up to Beth and 1 year to open up to Ari. Ari is making a pool party today. Their ain't no party like a pool party. Ari makes the best parties she loves music. Lucas, Rosa, Ben, Beth and Alex are coming. My parents and Ari's went to a vacation last week. Lucas and Alex got the grill, I got the snacks, Ari got the drinks (non-alcoholic). It has been 2 hours since we have been outside. The boys are having a hard time looking away at their mates (us not me) because of the bathingsuit. I don't wear bathingsuits anymore. While I was getting more chips I heard a knock at the door. Of course I get it and see Maya at the door looking very tense. "Hey what are you doing here?" I say politely not wanting to be rude to her. "Can I come in?" She asks nervously. "Sure were having a pool party everyone is outside." I say. She knew about Ben, Lucas, Rosa and Alex. She groans and runs outside. Well then. Something is wrong Ava says alarmed Do you feel that? She asks me. Feel what? I ask her till I hear a scream. He's here Ava said. I run outside to see a man in a cloak holding Maya while she struggles to get free. He senses that I'm here and pulls a gun and holds it at the side of Mayas head. "Hello Darling." He says. "Why are you here?" I say confidently. "I started something I didn't finish, which is killing the Wood twins." He finishes saying. I hear Rosa and Alex and Ben gasp behind me. "Look here buddy as long as I live your not going to hurt Cat." Beth says. "Ha look at her she won't open up. I broke her." He says. I hear Alex growls behind me. He throws Maya to the ground. "Listen darling people you think you know is keeping secrets from yo" He glances at Maya then back to me. "Goodbye darling" He then shifts and runs off. I stand their in shock.

I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Catherine. "Come on we have to go." My mate says. She understands me. I'm sorry we had to betray you but it's for their safety.

Alexander POV

Wait she has a twin and who was that guy that called her darling is that her ex. What is going on.

Catherine POV

We go inside, Rosa, Alex and Ben are about to ask me a billion questions. I raise up my hand and motion them to move towards the kitchen. Once everyone is settled in I speak. "I know y'all have questions I will answer them but y'all have to be quiet to listen." I wait but nobody speaks I continue "I lied about likeing a guy that was my twin Coraline. Their was 3 Whitney, me and Coraline. His name was Deacon that is the guy that was wearing the cloak. The young girl over there is Maya his younger sister. She left him because she knew he was hurting my sister. She went to inform me one day that he was going to kidnap her and do terrible things to her. So while Coraline was at work I dressed up like her. He captured me, he didn't know that it was me. I took the beatings, the silver, and the wolfsbane. I escaped and went after my family. They saw me when Coraline found out she was angry at him I was at the hospital for six months getting healed from everything. I didn't know that while I was in the hospital Coraline gave herself in and died." I stopped and cried silently for a little. Then I continued, "When I found out, I cried for months she gave me a necklace. I was going to tell the police about him but before the night I told the police I shifted cause I wanted to run I saw him and he threatened me that he will hurt the people I love if I told anyone. Little did he know Ari and Beth were in the bushes listening after he left me they calmed me down. So then I never told the police. I live the rest of my life broken." I finish. The room went quiet. "Once when I was jogging I saw him attacking somebody and I tried to run to the police. He saw me and threatened me as well so I dyed my hair blond when its natural color was black" Ari says. Maya speaks up "The reason I came is because I found out today that Mason is alive." "Mason is Deacons twin and they are both the same mean and cruel. Even though Ari and Cat never said anything they still want to kill them." Beth says.

Why after 1 year he tries to ruin my life again, why?
