I Found You

Darkness

Catherine POV

I was shocked, I didn't know they were alive. Well nobody knew. "I am Clarisse, but you all know that. What you don't know is why I'm here and alive. I ran away Deacon wanted me so he sended letters to me. He said if I didn't join him he would hurt Beth. So I did it for her. When I came I saw Richard already there. I found out that he was my mate. I watched you grow behind the trees in secret." Clarisse says answering our questions that we haven't asked yet. "The reason I am here is to protect Ari. Deacon did the same thing to me. He created the fire so that I died. That was just a distraction. I was here all along watching. That moment Catherine saw me I knew I had to be more discreet." He said. We stayed their quiet. Clarisse turned around and started talking to Mason. We were pulled away and back in the cell. I asked Ari for my key and she gave it to me. Ari was in the cell next to mine. They changed it now its just me and Alex. Then on my left is Ari and Rosa. On my right its Ben and Beth. Rosa paces. "Whats wrong?" Alex asks. "I found my mate." Rosa said her only response. "Whats wrong about that?" I say. "It's-" She was about to say but she was cut off. "Hello again." Mason says as he walks toward my cell. "What do you want?" I ask as Alex clutches me toward his chest trying to calm himself down. "Well..." he says as he points toward Clarisse and Richard which is being shoved in a cell across from ours. "You promised us protection for us and our siblings." Richard yells. "Well deals off." Mason said as he leaves. He stops at Ari's cell and looks at Rosa before leaving. "He is my mate." Rosa finishes. Alex growled. Our problems has now increased. Lucas find us, help us I try to mind-link. It didn't work I think. I try again. Remember the time you saved me we are here help us I get no response. I tried. Ben and Beth are cuddled together. Rosa and Ari fell asleep. Alex kissed me on the forehead and said that I needed to sleep, but I denied. He then picked me up and took me all the way to the bed, dropped me down onto the bed. I just gave up and went closer to him. "We will get out of this I promise." He whispers to me. I just nod and let the darkness take me away.

----- In the Morning -----

So bored, "I'm hungry." Ben whines everyone nods in agreement. We didn't eat at all yesterday even before we left we were too caught up in the deal. "How come you are not hungry?" Alex asks. "I had times were they only gave me water for a week and nothing else. I've learned a few things on not being hungry much." I reply. "I'm sorry Cat this wasn't meant to happen. They promised us safety all of us." Clarisse says. "They make bad deals." I respond "But I forgive you I understand." I say. "Thank you." Richard said. "No problem." I respond Clarisse was wearing type of jewelry but I couldn't see it well. "We have to try to get out of here in one piece." I say as I jump of the bed. I take my jacket off and I hear some gasps. I have marks on my arms, legs and belly because of everytime Deacon cut me or hurt me. That is why I don't wear shorts or swimming suits. I always worn a jacket to cover the marks. "Look my eyes are up here." I look around. Where is it. Where is it. "Alex help me move this bed." I demand. Once it is moved, there was just dirt. It had a hole before but now it's covered in dirt. I dig around and can't find it. There used to be a key that could let us out here. It looks like someone took it. We move the bed back. I tell them what they did to me the first time I was here and the second time. Around 8 hours passed just telling them the story. We hear some crashes but we brush it off. No one can hear us. No one can find us. They don't know where to look. They don't know if we are okay or not. We are stuck here. Just like the darkness. We are blind trying to find a path. So hard we can't see. Someone help us, find us. Lead us to a better path. Lead us out of the darkness. No one is there. We are alone in the darkness.
