I Found You

Hospital

Clarisse POV

It has been 4 days since the war. There is no more of that fluid. Apparently me, Maya and Catherine are kind of a family. We are the children of the keys. Or protectors. I was checked out yesterday for any injuries. Also Richard found out that I was pregnant.

~~~FLASHBACK~~~

"Okay everything is okay miss." The doctor said. Checking his board. "And your young baby is perfect nothing damaged her." The doctor adds before he leaves. "Wait your pregnant?!?!" Richard squeaks. "Umm... Yeah I didn't tell you because I thought you wouldn't want her." I say. Tears brimming in my eyes. I felt a hand cup my cheek. I look up to see Richard with a smile on his face. He places a hand on my belly. "I am the happiest man right now. I am glad that we can do this together. All of us together." He says. I hug him and he hugs me back.

Let me give you a brief summary on what happened a few seconds before Catherine blacked out.

~~~FLASHBACK~~~

I see Catherine weakly put together the shot. I thought she was going to inject herself. Before I can take the needle away from her she crawls over to a unconscious Deacon. She then stabes it to his side. She injects all of it into him. Then she passes out.

~~~FLASHBACK OVER~~~

So yeah. Catherine woke up 3 hours after she passed out. So far what happened Beth she... She lost her baby and since the impact of the ground was to much for her she won't be able to have another child. Ari just broke her arm. Rosa and Mason they... They died. Alexander he... He is in a coma. The bullet went right next to his heart. When he fell he landed on his head to hard. Ben broke a leg and his arm. Catherine walks in on us her head has been hurting. She has been crying herself to sleep. She visits Alex each day talking to him hoping that he will wake up. Even the doctors don't know how long he will be in this coma. Everyone in the battle in Deacon's side was captured and put into our pack cells. Deacon himself was in a cell. He doesn't remember much. Yeah I know it was supposed to make him forget. Someone in his past helped him make sure he doesn't forget. He is not a werewolf though. He lost that much. Catherine gets orange juice and sits down. "Hey its going to be okay." I say trying to cheer her up. She weakly smiles up at me. She goes to see him again.

Catherine POV

Yup I'm alive ...barely. Alex is in a coma. I went to see him yesterday. I'm going to see him right now. "Hey Alex its me again. Please come back to us. Come back to me. You showed me the universe. You showed me that love is real. You showed me that there will always be a bright side. I love you. I will never look for anyone else. You are for me and I to you. Please I need you. Please come back." I choke a sob.

"Okay kids go on page 37." I say to the class. I am substitute for a English middle school class. I got the job 2 weeks ago and got called in yesterday and today. I sit down. I see Alex each day. Everyone new about the battle. This school was all werewolves. Then the phone rings. "Hello." I answer. "Cat come here quickly!!" I hear Maya say. "Why what's wrong?" I ask. "Alexander." She says before the line goes dead. I get up and run to the hospital. Rachel take care of my class have to go to the hospital I mind-link. I shift and run. Thoughts and questions fill my mind. I then shift back and change I run straight to Alexander's room. I then see him moving. Little twitches here and there. I move next to him. "You have to talk to him." Maya says. "Alex hey, its me your mate Catherine. Do you remember when you took me on my first date or that time we shared our first kiss. Come on I know your in there. Come back to me. I really need you and you know why because I love you." I say. He then gasps out. He opens his eyes frantically looking everywhere. His eyes land on me. I hug him and cry on his shoulder. He was confused for some moments. "We have to check on him all of you have to leave this room." The doctor said.

------- Some Time Later -------

I was cuddled next to Alex. I told him what happened when we were apart. "I, being me, want to ask you how is it like in a coma." I ask. (Made this up)

~~~FLASHBACK~~~

I was laying down, I was able to hear everything. I couldn't see anything, everything was black. I tried to move but it felt like an elephant was on me. Of course I could breathe. I heard voices. I heard the most amazing voice. That voice sounded sad. I wanted to wake uo and hug that person. Saying no need to be sad. I still couldn't move. I decided to try to move tomorrow. I woke up and tried to move. I couldn't. But that didn't stop me. I kept trting. Untill I heard that magnificent voice again. That voice belonged to my mate. I kept moving for her. For us. Then I kept fighting and fighting. Then I woke up.

~~~FLASHBACK OVER~~~

He finishes saying. "Well for us it was over 5 weeks and not one night." I say. "But I'm glad you came back." I smile up at him. "You know what. I will always remember you. Everytime you came to talk to me you would ask if I would remember. I love you too. Maybe I didn't give you the universe but I'm going to try untill I die." He says. "I love you so much and you gave me all I wanted. I will always remember you too." I say. We sit there together. When you know someone you know what you need to say.
