We Had A Traitor

Catherine POV

On the way there I don't feel sleepy at all nor hungry. When I take a first step in the living room I pass out.

------------ In Dream -----------

I see Wisp down ahead. I try to run but instead she holds up a hand motioning for me to stay were I am. "I'm trying to reach out someone isn't letting me. Middle silver. Old gold. Young bronze." She chanted the last 3 sentences. She was getting pulled away "WISP!!" I yell after her. "Goodbye middle child, goodbye." She says. I feel someone grabbed onto my ankles and drag me down into the darkness. I'm drowning. "Help!" I yell. But I'm to deep in. I feel my eyelids get heavy. I can't breath. No one can hear me.

I spit out water and cough. I keep spitting water for a good 2 minutes. I see everyone around me. Rosa was holding a bucket. I was soaking wet. Alex rushes to me and cups my face. "Are you okay?" He asks worried. "Yeah." My voice came out raspy. I get changed into dry clothes. I hold the key I put it back in the chain and wear it. I told everyone what happened. "Why do you think she called you middle child?" Rosa asks. "I'm not sure." I reply. The whole afternoon we make a plan. "Tomorrow we will get Maya back." Lucas said. "Thank you for letting us stay." I say softly to Lucas. "No problem, everyone we will need rest you know were your rooms are, you can leave." He finishes saying. Thats when I noticed my necklace was silver and it didn't hurt me. And I remember that Maya had one as well and hers was bronze. Why didn't I notice this before. I keep this to myself. I drift off to sleep in Alexander's arms.

------------ Morning ------------

Time to go get Maya Ava said trying to wake me up. I'm to lazy and turn around. Then I feel lips on my face like everywhere on my face. I wake up while Alex is giving me feather kisses across my face. "Good morning." He says. "Good morning." I reply. He just smiles at me "Just in case something goes wrong." He said and then kisses me. Our longest kiss yet. "Don't forget that." He says out of breath. Hands in each others hair now. "Mhm..." I barely reply before kissing him again. After a good 7 minutes of kissing each other we break away and get ready for today.

-------------- In Car --------------

We are halfway their and I'm getting nervous. Alex kisses my hand and rubs my back trying to calm me. "We're here." Ben announced. I get off the car and go to the clearing I see a tied up Maya. I run towards her but stop halfway when I see Deacon behind her. "Bad girl, I told you to come alone." He says. "I'm here to only make a deal." I say. "What kind of deal?" He questions. "Leave everyone I know, and love alone. I will take Maya and I will leave here in peace with the key. If you don't agree I have a friends pack against you it's your choice." I say confidently. "Ah stupid girl, I have a army. Plus you only brought me one thing just one key. Where is the other one?" He says. I play dumb "Wait there is more keys." I say. All he does is smile evily and says "Goodnight darling." while fog appears. It's a trap move I mind-link. But it's to late I start feeling dizzy and fall into darkness.

----- Some Time Later -----

I woke up in a cell with a massive headache. In the cell with me, I see Ari, and Beth. The cell next to mine contains Rosa, Ben and Alex. In reality our plan was the deal and if he didn't take it we will mind-link Lucas to come with the pack and Ari had the key. THE KEY. Right when I started to remember about the key everyone woke up. I have been in this cell to many times. Its the same cell I had when I was tortured. Right when Ari was about to speak gaurds came. They unlocked the door and took us. Each person had two gaurds shoving them to a certain direction. We go to a big room and our position is on our knees. I see Deacon and Mason come. Joining them are 2 cloak figures. I couldn't see them well cause of the darkness. Maya then comes but with no gaurds and no ropes around her. She then moves to the side of Deacon. "Even the little ones hide secrets." Mason said. Young ones hold secrets. Maya looks down not wanting to see us tied up and on our knees. "My parents weren't killed Mason and Deacon trapped them. They have there own cell. I did what they said to set them free." Maya says still looking down. "Give us the Key!" Mason demanded. "I don't know where it is." I lie. "We can see through your weak lies, tell us the truth." Mason said. I kept quiet. "Fine you won't tell us just know that you will always be here untill you tell us. And we cut of your mind-link the gas that you smelled cuts it of for a week." Deacon said. "We have a gift for Ari and Beth." Mason said as me and Ben growls. "Don't you remember them." Mason said pointing to the people in cloaks. They take of the hoodie of the cloak and we see the lost girl and the boy who died in a fire, Richard and Clarisse.
