Marks and Dates

Catherine POV

Yesterday I had my first kiss, and 2 days ago Deacon came. My life is so complicated. Either way me and Alex are walking and talking. I see Ari covering her neck while smiling. "Whats up, why are you covering your neck?" I ask her. "Umm..." s all she says while uncovering her neck. She had a mark. "Woah thats so pretty." I say in awe. "Thanks I did my best." Says Lucas. Marks are were a male wolf bites the neck or somewhere in that area. It is part of the mating process. 1) You accept your mate. 2) The male wolf marks you to show other wolves that your taken. 3) You complete the process by um mating. It's a strange process. "Its getting cold out." Alex says, seeing me shiver. "See you later." I say to Lucas and Ari. "I'm staying over at your place cause I don't want to be third-wheeling." I say to Alex. "Alright." Is all he said. We go to his house and I change the channel to Doctor Who, don't judge me that show is awesome. We snuggle in the couch and fall asleep.

Alexander POV

I wake up in the most best position in the world. My mate is cuddled next to me. My hands are wrapped around her and vice versa. I hear her soft breathing. Only if it could be like this all the time. Maybe it can Jay says. I know that, what I don't know is that if she wants me this close I reply to him. She wants us her wolf she tells me he says back. I don't know I will just wait, now hush she is waking up I tell him. She looks around confused for a bit, untill she remembers. I pretend to be asleep. She looks at me and smiles. "What did I do to ever deserve you?" She whispers to herself. She touches my cheek thinking that I'm asleep. I bring her up were now she is on top of me and her face buried in my neck. I was actually starting to drift off again, but then she kisses my cheek. I open my eyes and look down at her, she was startled that I have woken up so quick. I trace the side of her face. That is when I noticed I never took her out on a date. "Will you go on a date with me?" I blurt out. I turn into a tamatoe. She softly smiles at me "Yes." She replies. Since I was so excited I kissed her. I pulled back ready to apologize but she brings my lips down to hers. After we break away she tells me she has to go at Ari's house. "I'll pick you up at seven, okay?" I say. "Okay." She replies and goes outside were Ari was waiting for her. Then I see her drive off. Time to get ready.

Catherine POV

I go to Ari's house to get ready. "Yay, your finally growing up." Beth says dramatically. I roll my eyes. "No make-up." I demand. I hate make-up I really do it feels like flour thrown on your face. "Fine." Ari grumbles. I get dressed (Look at pic) and wait. It was only 6:45. Yeah we took a long time in the mall. He comes 5 minutes earlier and knocks at the door. "He-Wow." He stopped his greeting. I squirm under his gaze. "You look just, just wow." He stumbles through trying to find the perfect word. He snapped out of his daze. "Ready?" He asks. "Yes." I say.

----------- In forest -----------

I see a table all set up and neat. "Wow." I breathe out it was beautiful. Lights hanging in the trees. A path leading toward the table. The table is all decorated with lit candles. I didn't even notice that we were already at the table. "Wow." I say again. I then see him bring food and set it on the table it was lasagna with spaghetti. "Classic dish." I say chuckling. "Um I made it." He said blushing. So cute. "Well then, sir, I will be the judge of your cooking." I smile my sweet smile. I see him bring a vodka bottle which scares me. "Its just grape juice I wanted to see your reaction." He said trying to contain his laughter. I stick my tounge out to him. So lady like Ava said sarcastically. When we finished our food, he brought dessert. It was a chocolate cake, small but for two. Once we finished that he takes me somewhere deeper into the forest. I chuckle when I notice it's the spot I showed him the first day I met him. (Play Music) We look at the moon reflection glistening on the water. He takes my hand and we start dancing to the music in the background. It was nice and slow. He looked at me and said "How did you like your evening, miss." He says joking around like I did earlier. "I loved it." I said, "Why did you do it though." I ask out of curiosity. "Because." Is all he said. We break eye contact and continue dance. "Look um... We known each other for a while now and I was wondering... Would you be my girlfriend?" He asks nervously. So he did all of this to ask me to be his girlfriend. He put so much effort. Took time of his day to do this for me. "Hey, don't cry it was a stupid question. You dont have to answer I was just being-" "Stop." He started rambling but I cut him off. "You took time of your day to do this. You are sweet, funny and weird. You understand me. You didn't get angry when I didn't tell you my past. You waited for me. And I like that about you. No, I actually don't. I love that about you. Yes so what if I had a bad past, you entered my life and turned it better. I love you. Maybe you don't love me back and that's fine. I will wait like you waited for me. So yes I will be your girlfriend. Your girlfriend that loves you." I finish afraid of his answer.

Alexander POV

She loves me. She loves me. She loves me. Those words replay in my mind. I connect our foreheads together. "You just made me the happiest man. You are wrong by the way. The first time I set eyes on you I knew it would be just us against the world. You are crazy, shy and smart. I love you and I always will. I waited for you because I cared for you. Your past is in the past for a reason. I would love to be in your future. I will always be here. Thank you for being the best mate. I love you too. I am glad to be your boyfriend. Your boyfriend that loves you." I finish. We share a passionate kiss. When we pull away we dance again. "I will always be there for you." I murmer one more time.
