- Yui's POV -
I opened my eyes. I'm so excited!! I'm going to hangout with Diachi this weekend!! Wait, why am I so excited to hangout with Diachi? What the hell happened yesterday?!?! I got up and looked at the clock. It was 7:15. I got up and did what I usually do in the morning.
"Yui!! Get down here!!" my grandmother said.
"Coming!!" I yelled back. I put on my clothes for school and went downstairs. "You called grandmother?" I asked.
"Yes, I did." she replied. Grandmother closed her eyes. "Have you been avoiding those two friends of yours?" she asked. I was in shock. I totally forgot all about that!
"Um...of course." I said.
"Good. You may proceed to school." grandmother said formally. I walked to the door and sighed while putting on my shoes. What am I going to do? I stood up and went to school.
At school
I sat on my seat and put my head on the desk. Gloom was around me and half my soul came out. The soul said what am I going to do...
"Hey Yui." a voice from behind said to me. I looked back and saw it was Hachiru.
"Oh hey Hachiru." I said with no emotion. I'm pretty sure he saw my frown.
"What's wrong?" he asked me.
"Oh nothing." I said with a fake smile.
- Hachiru's POV -
I knew that Yui was fake smiling.
"Are you sure it's nothing?" I asked with concern.
"Yes, it's nothing." Yui said again with a fake smile. Then, she laid her head down on the desk. I frowned and decided to walk away from her. I pretty sure she needs to be alone for the time.
The classroom doors open. It was Keomi. I walked to Keomi.
"Hey Keomi." I whispered to her.
"What is it?" she whispered back.
"Yui looks down. Shouldn't we do something?" I asked her in a whisper.
"I think she should be left alone for now." Keomi replied with concern.

Bell Rings
Finally lunch time!
"Hey Diachi!" Akoi said. I turned around and saw Akoi with some classmates. "Want to sat with us at lunch?" he asked.
"No thanks. I like to be alone at lunch." I replied.
"Okay. Well see you later then." he said. I walked out of the classroom and up to the roof. I opened the door to the roof and saw someone already there. I looked down and saw...
Yui!! What is she doing up here? She looked like she was sleeping so I didn't want to disturb. I walked near her and sat down. Then, Yui opened her eyes.
"Hey..." she said with no emotion. What happened to her? "I want to be alone...So can you leave..."
"Well, you're pretty rude." I said while looking away. Yui looked up at me and starred down at her. We starred for a few minutes and I realized that she was depressed.
"Are you okay, Yui?" I asked while looking at the sky.
"Why would you ask me that question? Don't you hate me?" she asked with no emotion like before.
"Me?!?! You started hating me!!" I yelled.
"Oh really? Oh well." Yui still had no emotion, I'm a bit concerned.
"You know you can always talk to me." I said to her. Yui stood up and looked at me.
"Really? I really can?" Yui said with a little more emotion.
"Yeah. You can." I said while looking at the distance. She giggled.
"What's so funny?" I asked. Yui continued to giggle.
"What is so funny!!" I asked again.
"You trying to look cool." she said while giggling.
"What..." I said. I'm glad that she's laughing again. "So you up for this weekend?"
"Yeah!" Yui said with a smile. Then, I smiled back.
"I guess today was my turn of being gloomy." Yui said giggling.
"I guess so." I replied with a smile.
