Chapter 35: Rooftop Meeting

- Diachi's POV -

I wonder what Yui wants to talk about.

Bell Rings

Yui comes dashing towards me and drags me to the roof.

"Yui! I can walk mysellllffffff." I said as we both drifted away.

She opened the door to the roof, THREW me to the roof, and then closed the door.

I was on the ground frustrated.

"Hey! What was that for!" I yelled, as I was still on the floor.

Yui runs toward me with a scary face. My face was filled with fear. She holds me at the shoulders as she asks.

"Why'd you say that!" Yui said with a scary voice too.

"What you mean?" I asked curiously.

"Did I not come to your house?" She said with a calmer voice than before.

I looked down, wanting to talk.

"Did you not want me to go?" Her eyes were full with determination and almost sadness.

"I'm so sorry, Yui." I started. She looked up and I knew that she didn't expect that. "I'm sorry. I just didn't want to hurt you anymore."

She tilted her head, as if she was confused. "What are you talking about?"

She seriously doesn't remember what happened. "Never mind. I'll meet you in class." I walked away with my head down.

Doors open, then close

-  Yui's POV -

I knew excatly what Diachi meant. Thank you Diachi, but I have decided to let it slide. Please don't remind me about that time anymore.

I open that door and see Hachiru dashing towards me. Seeing him so fast made me move aside. Then, he crashed into the fence.

I laughed when his face was squashed. That totally cheered me up.
"I hear that you and Diachi were on the roof. So I decided to come take a look." He huffed and puffed. "Let me catch my breath." Hachiru put his knees and looked tired.

"Thanks for coming, but there was no reason too." I told him with a smile.

I could tell from Hachiru's face that he didn't believe me.

"Well, gotta go to class now." I awkwardly laughed, while walking away.

Door opens, then closes

- Hachiru's POV -

I know that there was a reason for me to come. I just know it.
