Chapter 28: O°O

- Yui's POV -

Diachi and I finally made it to the main office. When I walked in, a lady with blonde started talking to me.

"Excuse me. Are you Yui Himura?" the blonde lady said to me.

"Um... yes." I told her.

"Please follow me. You have a phone call." The blonde lady walked and Diachi and I followed. She gave me the phone and I listened.

"Hello?" I said towards the person on the other side of the phone.

"Is this Yui Himura?" the person on the other side said.

"Yes. Is there something I can help you with?" I asked.

"We are from the hospital that your grandmother is staying at" I wanted to speak however the person just continued. "Your grandmother's condition has gotten worse." My eyes widened. "Would you like to see her now?" My eyes started to tear up.

"Yes, please." I told her.

"Okay. Now, give the phone back to the teacher." the person said with a calm tone. Then, I handed the phone.

- Diachi's POV -

Yui was walking towards me and waiting for the teacher to say something. I wonder what happened.

"Yui, are you okay?" I whispered to her.

Then she replied, "Yeah. I'm fine."

"Ms. Himura, you may leave school early." the teacher told her.

"Thank you." Yui said and she started heading for the door.

I didn't want her to go alone. So I decided to go with her.

"May I please escort Yui?" I asked the teacher. The teacher thought about it for a second.

"Sure. That would be a great idea." she said. I walked out the door and ran to catch up to Yui.

"Hey Yui!" I yelled down the hall to get her attention. She turned back to look at me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"I'm coming with you to the hospital to see your grandmother." I told her.

"How did you -"

"Word spreads." I said. Then I saw Yui tearing up.

"I have to get there." She said with tears coming down her eyes.

"And we will." I said. Then, we started running to the hospital.

- Teacher's POV -

Just a usual day teaching a class, until I hear running in the hallways. I opened the door and saw two kids running.

"Hey! No running!" I yelled. "Kids these days." I whispered to myself.

- Yui's POV -

Diachi and I finally got to the hospital.
"Excuse me. I'm here to see my grandmother." I told the lady behind the desk.

"Patient's Name plz." She said.

"Akiko Himura." I said telling her my grandma's name.

"Right this way." We walked "Akiko Himura"'s room and opened the door.

I saw my grandmother laying there with wires around her.

"Doctor, is she going to be okay?" I asked being concerned.

"Yes. She will. But she needs to relax more." He told me. "Did anything make her stress before she started coughing?"

"I didn't see anything." I told all the information I knew.

"Okay then. Lets let your grandmother rest for a bit." The doctor said. So I headed outside and waited with Diachi.

Tears started running down my eyes. I'm pretty sure Diachi realized because he was hugging me.

"Let it out. I won't let anyone see you." Diachi said to me with a calming voice.

"Diachi..." I said with a murmuring voice. I let all my tears run down my face. Until I realized that Diachi and I fell asleep, while Diachi hugging me.
