- Yui's POV -

"I like you too." Diachi's voice just kept on floating in my mind while I was walking to school.

"Hello?!?!? HELLO?!?!?" I snapped out of thought.

"What is it, Keomi?" I asked trying to hide the fact that DIACHI LIKES ME!

"You're hiding something..." Keomi said unpleasantly.

"What! I'm not hiding... you can't prove anything!" I yelled and pointed at her.

"I know you. When you're trying to hide something, you clench a fist. And clearly, you're breaking the handle on your bag." Keomi giggled. I looked down and the handle was all out of puff. I sighed. "So what happened yesterday?" She smirked.

"Well, I got home and made myself some ramen. Then..."

"Not that!" Keomi yelled. Then I backed off. "I'm talking about you and Diachi."

I blushed. "Anything juicy?" She, then, smirked.

"Nope. Nothing juicy." I said confidently.

"Really?"

"Yep." I said confidently again.

"Are you sure?" Keomi then stared at me.

I quickly exhaled. "Fine! Just stop with the eye staring! It burns!" I continued exhaling and inhaling quickly.

"Hehe." Keomi smiled. "So what happened?"

Then I told her everything.

"Really? Diachi likes you back?" She said surprisingly.

My mouth dropped to the floor. "Why are so surprised! Is it that unbelievable that he likes me?"

"No no. I was just kidding." She smiled back. "Okay, now let's open the classroom door."

My eyes popped out. "Oh no. I can't go in there! Diachi is in there! What am I gonna say to him! Wait, does my hair look okay?" I smiled. "Oh my god. There's no time for hair, what if he starts asking about our relationship! Wait, is there even a relationship?!?!?" I started to mumble. "I mean, he didn't technically ask me out. He only said he liked me. So it should be fine. Right? Right? Oh who am I kidding, why would Diachi even like me."

"YUI!!!" Keomi yelled and I came back to the real world. "Calm down. Breathe." I started to follow her instructions. "I'm pretty sure he's also freaking out too."

She's right. He's probably feeling the same thing as me. I looked up and got chills.

"What's wrong, Yui?" Keomi asked.

"Who's freaking out?" Diachi asked curiously.

"Oh hey, Diachi." She turned around.

"I'll just leave you two here, while I go to class." Keomi awkwardly giggled and started to enter the classroom.

"Wait!" I yelled and Keomi gave me a thumbs up.

I started to go blank!!! What am I suppose to do at this point?!!!?

"Shall we go in?" Diachi smiled and enter the classroom as well. Then I followed.

Why is he so calm? Isn't he thinking about what happened the other day?

Bell Rings

My soul started coming out.

"What's wrong with her?" Akio asked.

"Probably because of the lesson. I mean who knows the Pi is 3.14. Pffft." Hachiru 'acting smart'.

"We do!" Akio, Diachi, and Keomi yelled in unison.

"Oh... well normal people don't know that."

Keomi sighed and pulled me out of the classroom.

"What's wrong with you? Aren't you gonna act all lovey-dovey with Diachi?" She asked.

"What? Where did you get the idea that I wanted to act all lovey-dovey?"

"Well, you like him. He likes you. I kinda figured."

"I don't want to act lovey-dovey. It doesn't even fit our personality." I said sadly.

Keomi sighed again. "What am I gonna do with you two..."

"I mean, are Diachi and I even a couple? He didn't even freak out when he saw me." I looked to the side. "Maybe he doesn't even like me, and I just heard him wrong."

"What are you talking about!" She yelled at me. "Stop looking at the downsides! What if he actually likes you!"

"But Keomi... he didn't even talk to me today, except for this morning." I started to tear up. "I want to talk to him every day. I don't want to be ignored." Tears started to come down.

"Yui, come on. Don't be like this."

"I CAN'T HELP IT!!!" Tears started to flood the hallways.

"Uhh... how about going home?" Keomi awkwardly smiled.

"Okay... but I won't enjoy it!!!" I walked home crying my eyes out.

At Home

"Yui?"

"Grandma."

"Oh Yui. What happened?" Grandma asked.

"A dog chased me home..." I didn't want my grandma to worry about the real reason.

"Sweetie, it's okay." I sniffled and blew my snot on her shirt. "Thank you for the snot... it's okay. The dog won't come to chase you anymore."

I started to cry even harder. "Stupid dog..." Then I sniffled.
