Chapter 4 - Tribute parade/ The first day of training

I can remember everything from last night. Gale kissed me, I slapped him and Peeta hit him. We got escorted to our rooms, and Effie started to giggling at Gale about what he did and that it was wrong. When we got back, I stood over the sink in the bathroom for fifteen minutes, crying and try to scrub Gale away from my lips.

I woke up earlier than Peeta today. I raised up from the bed, as sat up on his chest and whispered in his ear,
>> Peeta.<< with the most sugar sweet voice I could come up with.
>> What is it, Katniss.<< he asks in his cute morning voice.
He opens his eyes and almost jumps out of bed, as I'm laughing at his reaction.
>> Don't do that again, you scared the hell out of me.<< he says, watching me as I'm laughing at him.
>> How did you not feel when I sat up at your chest?<< I asked him.
>> Well, you don't weigh that much Katniss.<< Peeta says.

I laughed and pressed my lips to his. His fingers are trembling in my hair as we kiss. He sat up while kissing me. "I love you" I whispered through the kissing, "I love you more" he whispered back as we are kissing and my hands are all over his chest, and I came across his heart and felt his steady heartbeats as he holds me around my waist. But before anything happened there was a knock on the door.

I jumped off the bed and straightened out Peetas t shirt that I always borrow from him because they has his smell in it, and I love to fall asleep to that smell.
I opened the door, and Effie stood in the door opening.
>> You both have to get ready, pack your bags so that I can follow you to the tribute center!<< Effie said and tabbed on her arm watch.
>> Okay, give us thirty minutes and we can meet at the main floor then.<< I said.
>> Not a minute more otherwise we will be off schedule!<< Effie says and walks away.

>> Who was it?<< Peeta asks as pulling out a shirt of his bag on the ground.
>> It was Effie, we have to be in the lobby in thirty minutes.<< I said as going to my bag to pull out a pair of pants, a t shirt, clean underwear and a pair of socks.
>> Are you coming to the shower?<< I asked him while we made our bed.
>> Shure, you go first I will come when I'm done here.<< he says while putting the pillows on the bed.
>> Okay.<< I said and went to the shower.

Thirty minutes later we stood in the lobby, and Effie escorted us to a car to get to the training center in the fastest way. The tributes from the day before got escorted directly, but we would come the day after, when the training are about to start.

Effie sends me and Peeta up to the penthouse, where we will train "team 12". And as always are the odds never in my favor and we meet Gale in the elevator.

>> What the fuck did you think with?!<< I scream right up in his face when it has been quiet in three seconds.
>> What do you mean?<< Gale asks a bit with anger in his voice.
>> You know what she meant idiot!<< Peeta screams as he takes my side.
Gale are standing quiet, kind of shocked of our reaction, but I like it.
>> She stood in hours over the sink in the bathroom, crying while scrubbing her lips with soap!<< Peeta continued screaming.
The elevator stopped and Gale tried to run out, but in the last second Peeta catches his arm.
>> You won't mess with me, don't hurt my girl again. Otherwise I won't give you any mercy!<< Peeta whispered in his ear and pushed him out of the elevator.

He was very angry. His hand he didn't have my hand in he hold so tight so that his fingers got blue. His head started get red and he breathed loudly.
>> Peeta...<< I whispered.
He turned his head around and looked at me.
>> I don't want him to hurt you Katniss, you are all I have that mean something to me.<< he says and he sound as he are about to cry.
I took put my arms up on his shoulders and gave him a long kiss. His hands found my waist and my fingers trembled in his hair. I got butterflies in my stomach, and his big hand underlined my back softly. I always feel so calm in my whole body when he does that.
>> I love you, Peeta.<< I whispered in his arms before the elevator stopped.
>> And I love you so so so much!<< he says in a very lucky voice and lifted me up like I was as light as a feather.
I bend down and kissed his lips softly while I was up in the air.
