So, one fine day, I find odd things happening to me. Whatever I wish comes true. At first, this scares me a lot. But then, a woman called 'Storm' breaks into my room and declares that I've got magical powers and that I'm a witch. Oh, joy.
As I...

Becky panicked as the words disappeared. 'But is Silvia alive? And if she is, will she ever come back?' she asked, looking at the wordless page. 'Huh? Am I talking to a notebook? Weird...Well, it seems like I've gone mad.'
She stood up suddenly. 'I can do magic? It seems like I REALLY can. Let me give it a try.' She walked up to her bed and sat on it comfortably, then took a deep breath. 'Let me start! I'll try to use my magical powers. All I should do is flick my index finger, and make a wish at the same time. Right? Right!' she assured herself.
Becky took an empty water bottle, kept it on the edge of her bed, focused on it, flicked her finger and wished it gets filled with water. A mild blue flash of light, which was almost invisible erupted from Becky's finger, hit the bottle...AND...a thick liquid got filled into the bottle. 'Yes!' Becky screamed with pleasure. But her expressions changed as she found that this liquid was surely not water. She opened the cap of the bottle and a thick unpleasant smell rose out, making Becky screw up.
'Hahaha!' a bold laughing voice erupted out of nowhere. Becky looked around, trying to figure out the source of sound. And to her surprise, the voice was coming out of her notebook. Yeah! That same old notebook. 'Magic isn't that easy to do. Practice! Practice hard! Or else you'll be in trouble.' the voice told, and faded with a few more 'Hahahas'.
'Well, I'm sure, TOTALLY sure that I'm gonna get into trouble if I have this ugly smelling thing in my room one more moment.' Becky groaned to herself. But she was too lazy to make it. So she took another bottle, waved her magical finger at it, and wished it gets filled with water, again. Becky smirked as it once again got filled with the same smelly liquid. 'I'm gonna end up cleaning all these bottles instead of dishes tonight, I guess.' Becky smirked, her hands over her nose.
She grabbed both the bottles and held them above her head, planning how to get rid of them. Finally, she ran to her backyard, took a shovel and did some digging. It was really a 'sweaty' job. Suddenly, the unworthy bulb in her brain started flickering. She could use magic to dig the earth. 'Why didn't I think of it before? In a scale of one to ten, how much foolish am I?' she asked herself. 'Well, if I ask myself, 10...straight 10.'
She put the shovel on the soil, moved a step behind, they flicked her finger. The magical digging was not so professional, but it was enough for these two whole bottles of stinking substance.
When she had buried all the contents of her bottles, she ran upstairs to try out more magic with her magical finger.
A brilliant idea flashed on her mind. Becky smiled mischievously. Guess what she had in her mind?
Becky couldn't take away that smile from her lips. 'Homework is completely boring, but homework with magic would be definitely sooo interesting. Wouldn't it?' she asked herself blissfully.
She grabbed her History notebook, took the page where she had written the questions for that day. With that incredible smile, still plastered on her face, she flicked her hand, hoping that her homework would be done in a minute, with the help of dear magic.
There was a BANG! above her head. She whipped her head up. Again, there came this same bold voice, now from above, in the air.
'NOTIFICATIONS, MISS BECKY CORNER!
MAGIC SHOULD NEVER BE USED FOR CHEATING, ESPECIALLY FOR HOMEWORK. HAHAHAHA!'
And then the voice once again started fading. Becky's hope too faded away into complete hopelessness.
'Well, doing homework is the hardest ever job. Only if you have done them...' she started, but the voice was already heard no more. 'Bye, Mr Hahaha.' Becky struck her tongue out. She wrinkled her nose, and glared up, then sat up straight, TOTALLY annoyed, her hands folded around her waist.
