'Mom. I'm leaving.  Goodbye!'  I waved to mom.  Guess what?  I'm going to Kimberly's home now.  And I know it's gonna be a wonderful evening for me, today.  Minus Chase Jones.

Well, I hate to admit that I'm really nervous to meet Kim's elder brother.  Half of my nails bitten down that it started getting painful.

I flung my leg around my bike's seat and kicked the pedal slowly, dreaming about what I'm going to face in a few minutes.

Kimberly's house is two streets away.  The Oreon street.

So, here's this small kiddo walking with his elder sister, I think.  His mouth is totally covered with chocolate cream.  Oh god!  Why me?  Why can't I have something made of chocolate?  Everyone knows that I get mad if I didn't have chocolate once in a while.

And hey, God!  Isn't it a right that a daughter can have cookies which her mom herself made.  While my bloody brother Rob can have them, why can't I?

Screeeeeech!

I flung my hand on the brake in the right time.  A dog was about to die at my tires.  Crap, crap, crap.  I looked up and sighed happily plus just a little bit nervously as I found that I'd arrived to Oreon street.  All the buildings looked alike except the colour.  They all had a small round window at the top, and all the gates were painted black.

Kimberly's house was the sixth from the right.

And it is light red, which made it look unique and stunning.  The paint had faded, but that did no harm to it's beauty.  I rang the bell, and waited for the door to open.

1 second.  2 seconds.  3 seconds.

1 minute. 2 minutes...

Ugh!

I rang the bell again, and before I could take my hand off the bell-switch, the door flung open, exposing a handsome man, who I think would be in his late forties.  So, this must be Kim's dad.

'Hellooo!'  He greeted enthusiastically, a whistle-tease kind of voice.  'You must be...Becky Corner, right?'

'Yeah!'  I nodded, smiling with my teeth, pleased to see him.  He looked just like Chase.  Same dark, black hair and same hard features.  Above all, he had his body built properly.  He seriously looked too young, if you ask me.  I think, Kimberly's mom is too lucky to get hold of him.

'Come in, Becky!'  he shoved me into the house.

 'Yep, Mr Jones.'

The hall was also painted light red.  The furniture were ill fitting for the house, but still they looked lively.  A huge, old fashioned clock hung there proudly, and I felt as if I was in the 12nd century.

As I stood there awed by the alive home,  someone unexpectedly walked down the stairs.  Silvia Matt, my worst enemy and the last person I wanted to see.  The sight of me disgusted her.  As for me, I just wanted to kill her.  A smirk emerged on her lovely-ugly face.  I looked up at the plain ceiling, trying to control my anger.  I gritted my teeth, anyway.  Wait...Why am I getting angry?  I need to calm down.  Just a few steps before she reached me, she turned around and shouted, 'Goodbye, babyyyy!'

'Yeah, Bubye!'  Chase's hurried voice replied, somewhere from one of the rooms above.  I rolled my eyes irritably.  Teen Drama!

'Oh!'  Silvia's sugar sweet voice interrupted my thoughts.  'Hi, Becky!  What brings you here?'  she said as if she hasn't noticed me before.  I rolled my eyes again.

I looked straight into her eyes, and sent a cold glare.  Huh!  To meet my boyfriend, Miss Brainless, I told myself dramatically.

'You see, Kimberly  is my best-best friend.  That brings me here.'  I informed her, pressing on the word 'best-best'.
