Next day, Becky woke up, only to find herself rolled down her bed,  FULLY (not completely) covered with pillow feathers.  Only then she realized that she had dreamed in which she was dancing in between pure white feathers, in the middle of a wonderland, which had magnificent trees on which lollipops were growing.  She guessed, she might have just pointed her freaking index finger at her pillows when she was dreaming.

Becky had fallen asleep too early, because she didn't even realize that her mom was back from her all day long, so-called cool with friends shopping mission.  Becky finds her mom totally annoying         ( like 99.9999% of the teenagers).

Becky hates cosmetics, and that is the first thing on her mother's shopping list.  Makeup is the thing that freaked Becky out, while it was her mom's best choice.

And she always keeps an eye on Becky, that is more than enough, which annoyed her to death.  Moreover, Becky's mom hated Becky's friends.  She thought that her friends were the craziest people alive and has also once told Becky that Silvia would be a better choice.

Well, coming to the present, Becky just wanted to go under the warm shower, so that she could get out of her morning tiredness.

She felt heaven as the warm water from the shower collided with her shoulders.  When she got out of the shower, she changed, then thought of pouring some magic in her dress.  She flicked her finger at her sweatshirt and it turned white.  'That's cool,' Becky smiled at her reflection on the mirror, 'Pretty awesome!'  she assured herself.

She still had thirty minutes to get to school.  So she decided to play with her magic for sometime and then walk to school.  She thought of making something...Fly.  She looked around her untidy room to find something, so that she could make it levitate.  There!  A small iron ball.

'People throw it, catch it, roll it, bounce it.  But look at me, I'm the only one who is going to make it fly.'  Becky thought to herself, grabbing the ball.

'Tada!'  she said, and flicked her index finger.  And...the ball rose gracefully up her hand.  Becky smiled, as she looked up at the flying iron ball.

She searched for some other thing, and there was her school bag,  bigger than a child rhino, lying on the floor, beside her study table.  In a moment she had it flying too.

'This is AWWSSSOME!' she squealed, pleasure floating in her face

'This is AWWSSSOME!' she squealed, pleasure floating in her face.  'I need not go to school carrying this sloth on my back, anymore.'

Then!  She turned to her bed.  Guess what?  She was planning to make her strong, wooden bed fly next.  She moved a few steps back and pointed at her bed.  Becky wished it would fly.  But it stayed still.  She thought for a minute that she is going to fail in making her bed levitate, but she still didn't take her finger away.  AND...It rose up...Slowly!  Very slowly.

'YESSS!'  Becky jumped up and down.  'I made it!'

     BANG!

The bed fell down,  making a sudden, horrible, LOUD bang.  Becky froze, disappointment as well as shock in her eyes.

'What was that deafening sound?'  Becky's mom came in, bursting the door open.

'What sound?'  Becky asked, as if she hadn't heard anything.

'Didn't you hear anything?  It was extremely loud.  And...' she stopped, thinking hard.  When she had finished with her wild thinking, she turned to face Becky with a knowing look.  'Or is this one of your crazy tricks, Becky?' she asked her daughter, with a Don't-I-know-about-you? look.

'N-no! No!  Why should I play tricks.  I-I'm so grown up.  I'm almost an adult...Er-young adult...' she changed her words as she saw her mother's expressions change.  'Mom, I didn't do anything.  In fact, I didn't even hear something so loud, as you were saying.  Ummm...Maybe you heard me closing my textbook.  You know,' she started a new tale so that she could escape.  'I was so fed up with my History homework.  It was incredibly tough AND booooooring too.  So...'  she looked up to see if her mom believed her, but she clearly knew that this was impossible.  Anyway, she was curious to know if her lies worked.

But...NOOOO...Her mother's expressions were unconvinced.  She just folded her arms around her waist and gazed at Becky, with no intention to believe her daughter.

Becky thought she must have told a better lie, than the BANG! of her good-for-nothing History textbook.  On the other hand, she was not at all ready to let out her secret, of getting magical powers to her mom.  Even if she told her mom, she would think Becky was insane.  Well, Becky was not even hoping to tell it to Kimberly.  So, she just stood there, wishing her mom would believe all the nonsense she told to her the previous minute.

     And...IT WORKED!  Unbelievably!

Becky's mom said,'Oh, I think I'm imagining things.  I can't have heard any noise in MY house.  This is the most peaceful place in the whole world.  Well, get to school.  Quick!'  Then she turned around to leave.  But again, with a jerk, she turned to face Becky.  'What am I doing?  Did I just say I was imagining things?  NO, I CAN'T BE.  I'M NOT AT ALL GOING TO LEAVE YOU, BECKY.  NO WAY!  You must sure come up with a better excuse.'  she walked away murmuring to herself.

'This magic!'  Becky thought out loud.  'Did it wear out or something?  Maybe I should just keep trying to get out of the BANG! trouble!'

Becky checked her watch and thought she better walk faster before the first bell for her first class, which was...English this time.  She ran out of her home waving goodbye to her dad, who was reading his morning newspaper, with his favorite cup of Mom-made tea.

'Dad was the best.  He never believes me anyway, but surely he doesn't believe mom either.  He thinks I've too got a point when I'm arguing.  He does justice.  But even dad is so annoying when I blame my mom for the worst food she makes.  Because, dad just loves her cooking, and he can never get his hands off mom's food, when he is back from office.'  Becky thought within herself.

As she walked along the roads, she saw an old women struggling to mow the grass in her wild, uncut garden.  Becky hoped she could help her, which she exactly knew how.  Magic!

She stood out close to the rusted fence and peeped in.  She pointed her fingers at the mower and flicked.  The mower started moving automatically, astonishing the poor old woman.  She stumbled backwards as the mower went forward.  Becky wished she could do magic faster, so that the mower would move in express speed.  But no use!  So she stopped pointing at the mower after a few minutes so that she wouldn't get into trouble in school.  She started running, and as she passed a stationary car, she heard some familiar tune.  Taylor Swift's Shake it off  was playing, and she hummed with it as she jogged.
