So, one fine day, I find odd things happening to me. Whatever I wish comes true. At first, this scares me a lot. But then, a woman called 'Storm' breaks into my room and declares that I've got magical powers and that I'm a witch. Oh, joy.

Ring...Ring...The phone went, the next sick morning. Usually, it was Becky who tumbled down the stairs to pick up, but she didn't do it this time, as the thought of spending a huge, whole day with Rob and Hilary swirled in her mind, making her feel dizzy.
'Becky! It's for you.' she heard her mom scream from the hall below.
'Coming!' Becky shouted back, and stood up abruptly. She walked down the stairs, counting the minutes she's gonna live happily. Horrible! Just horrible!, she thought as she bit her lips, the way down. Totally horrible!
'What took you this long?' her mother questioned her, irritated.
'I was just planning to hang.' she muttered under her breath in a way her mom couldn't hear properly.
'What?'
'Nothing'
I just said I wanted to die, she thought as she received the receiver from her mom.
'Yes. Tell me, Kim.'
Well, she knew that it was Kimberly, because nobody else ever phoned her.
'Hey, Beck. Will you come home, now?' boomed in Kim's funny, excited voice. 'I would like to introduce you to my parents. What do you think?'
'Oh, nooo...Kim...I can't.'
'Umm!' There was disappointment in Kim's voice. 'Okay! What about afternoon?'
'Nope!'
'Evening?'
'Noo.'
'Why?' The disappointment in her voice had increased. 'You've got any important work?'
'Important?' Becky groaned, rolling her eyes. 'Nah! I'm going out with my brother Rob and his girlfriend.'
There was silence on the other side.
'Sorry, Kim. I can't come. I'm sorry.' Becky said, thinking how good the day would have turned out if she was with Kimberly.
'It's okay! Some other time, maybe. Goodbye!' With that she hung up. Becky looked at the receiver, till her mom called (actually she roared) her to pack her bag, for the horrible trip.
'Coming!' she shouted back, and walked upstairs as slow as she could.
'Faster...faster!' mom shouted to make her pack her things faster, as she was throwing the things inside her bag like a sloth.
'Can I stay at home, mom? I feel so tired and...' she was cut off by her mom.
