Persey's (Natalie) POV

His voice echoed in my head which made my knees felt like jelly and my stomach curled with butterflies. Those three words only sunk into my brain after a second.
Bruno loves me. Bruno Mars loves me. He said it himself.
Can you hear that? That's my heart. Can you hear it pounding hard like a drum? Can you hear me screaming from the inside of my body? Can you?
I quickly wiped away my tears and smiled so wide at Bruno which made me look pathetic in front of him but I didn't care. I didn't care how I looked that moment. All I know was that the man I never thought I'd fall for loves me back.
He smiled back at me showcasing his adorable dimples. For a moment, we looked at each other like happy little kids who just got themselves a new playmate, staring at each other's glowing eyes for what seemed like an eternity.
Bruno's POV
I didn't know what to say next. I didn't know what to do. I was just speechless, taking a deep dive into the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. The eyes of the snake which I first fell for turned into the eyes of an angel.
In my head, I can hear Ali screaming like, "KISS HER! KISS HER! KISS HER!" Sure, I wanted so bad to kiss her right now. If she lets me, I would kiss her the whole night... but in the bathroom? That doesn't sound like a place for kissing, does it?
"Well, this is romantic," I chuckled sarcastically breaking the silence filling us.
She suddenly dropped her gaze and felt a little awkward. "Yeah. Romantic," she scoffed at the ground.
I didn't say a word but just slip my fingers through her hand. She quickly looked at me in a quite surprised look. Our finger intertwined. I held her hand tightly but not too tight, and led her out of the bathroom to the dance floor.
It was like the dance floor was made for us when we made our way to it and the music eventually turned into something slow and romantic. I put my hands on her waist and she put her arms around my neck. Then we started dancing to the music.
The song wasn't familiar to me. But I think it was an Ed Sheeran. It wasn't the kind of song I usually listen to, but I found it beautiful. I don't know why but it made me feel like I was alone with Persephone in another place that only the both of us know.
