"Ahh! Let go of me!" I screamed, throwing punches at the person who was holding me.

"Sumin! Stop, it's Jin! It's just me," I heard him say, and I started to calm down and stopped hitting him.

"what are you doing here? You scared me to death!" I say, taking a deep breath.

"you scared me to death! You shouldn't be so close to the edge!"

"Well how would I know?!" I yelled back, feeling sudden anger submerge in me. "Now look what you did! Now we're both in the water!"

"Look what I did? You're the one who was about to fall into the water-"

With a huff, I pushed him away from me, and turned around in the other direction, and walked in the water until I felt the ground get high and higher, until I was finally out of the water, and onto the grass.

I sat there, for a moment as I hugged myself as the breeze blew, and I shivered.

I thought over about what just happened, until I realized there was something missing.

I gasped. "Oh no! My walking stick!"

"What?" He says.

"My walking stick!" I say louder this time, and stood up. "I dropped it in the water!"

He didn't say anything, but I knew he turned around as I heard him waddle back in the water.

I sighed, and sat back down as I started to wait for him. I called out to him occationally, asking him if he found it yet.

It felt like a long time, just sitting here waiting for him to find it. But the longer I sat, the more I felt the guilty feeling in me build up, and I felt pathetic just sitting here and not being able to do anything.

But it's not like I could look out and tell him where I saw the walking stick anywhere.

I sighed, and bowed my head down.

After another moment, I heard him walk back up to me.

"I couldn't find it," I heard him say. "sorry."

"it's fine." I just say, and stood back up. "thank you, for trying to help find it for me."

"no problem," He says. "well since you lost your walking stick, I can be your replacement for now."

I snorted. "You want to be my guide dog?"

He chuckled a little. "No... not a dog. Maybe a human guide, yes."

I smiled a little, and nodded my head. "sure."

We walked out of the park together, with me looping my arm around his as he guided me on the way back to my place first.

While we walked, we didn't really say anything, apart from making little jokes on how we fell into the lake just earlier, but it was mostly silence.

And I felt like I was the one who was suppose to say something, and so I did.

"Hey Jin... I'm really sorry about earlier, how I assumed you were the one who was wrong. It was me. I knew you were concerned about me, but I was just embarrassed about it, and I got angry," I say, and bowed my head as I felt the embarrassment in me still.

"you must dislike me... right?"

He stopped, and I stopped too.

"Well you're wrong on that one," He says, and I lifted my head up.

He sighed. "No, I don't dislike you. It doesn't mean that I got a little irritated with you, means that I disliked you. If I did dislike you, I wouldn't even be walking you back home right now."

I bit my lip, feeling a strange warm feeling rise to my cheeks.

"And plus, don't worry about it," he continues. "We both fell into the water, so it's even."

The breeze blew on us again, and I shivered.

"we better hurry home before you catch a cold," he says, and suddenly, I felt his arm around my shoulders, and before I could protest, we were on the move again.

"I'll explain everything, don't worry." He says when we arrived at my door.

I took a deep breath, and nodded.

After a few knocks on the front door, either my mom or dad opened it.

"What on earth happened?!"

Yup, it's my mom then.

"Annyeonghaseyo, Mrs. Baek, my name is Seokjin and I'm a classmate of Sumin. It's my fault to cause the reason why she is wet. I'm sorry." He says.

  A/N- ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

"Oh my goodness," I heard her say. "It's alright, you two stay there, I'll go grab some towels."

"Your mom is nice," He says after she had gone.

"Yeah," I just say, and coughed.

"Oh no, don't get sick-"

"I'm fine, that was a fake one."

He chuckled. "What is that suppose to mean?"

"Okay, here are some towels. Oh my, you two must be so cold-"

"It's alright Mrs. Baek. I'll be fine. Thank you for the towel, but I just lived a street away so I'll be okay," He says, and I could imagine her shocked face, but a smile would come on her lips.

"Oh really? Okay, but thank you so much for getting Sumin home safely. I'll give you some soup I just made in gratitude," She says, and walked back inside the house.

"Your mom is definitely nice, I like her already."

"Yah, you can't have my mom as your mom. Back off." I say, and he laughed.

"Okay here," My mom came back as she handed Jin some soup in a container or something. "Try not to get sick when you get home!"

"I won't! Thank you again Mrs.Baek! I will enjoy the soup! Take care, Sumin." He says to me as he patted my shoulder, and turned and walked off.

After he had gone, my mom sighed.

"How'd you get yourself such a nice boy like that?"

"At the crosswalk," I just mumbled, remembering to the first time I met him, when he first helped me.

And the warm feeling returned to my cheeks again.

"Sumin! What are you doing? Get inside the house before you get sick yourself," My mom said, and I shook my head, and turned around and followed her back in the house.
