15- Boyfriend

"So what did you learn today?" I asked him as walked back home.

"Well," He says as he took a deep breath. "I learned that you think of me as being handsome,"

"Jin," I say in embarrassment. "I meant what you learned today in braille."

"I learned how to spell my name in braille, as well as some other words." He says, and I smiled.

"You're getting better at it," I say.

"Only because you're the one that motivated me," He says, and I blushed once again. "Oh, and another thing about that," He says, and stopped, making me stop also.

He grabbed my hand in his, and I felt him move down.

"Jin? What are you doing?"

"I'm getting down on one leg," He says, and I gasped in surprise.

He then held my hand in both of his, and cleared his throat. "I've realized for a long time now, that you're the right woman for me all along, and... I I like you."

"Jin!" I say, not knowing what  to say since I was so shocked. "Are there people looking our way?"

"Baek Sumin, will you be my girlfriend?"

I could imagine him in my head, looking up at me patiently for my answer, and I didn't care if there were some onlookers anymore, since I can't see them anyways.

I smiled softly. "If I become your girlfriend, you know it'll be harder on you, because of my disability. So even if I'm not perfect, are you still willing to take me as your girlfriend still?"

"Disability or not, I still like you for who you are Sumin. And I've shown you how well I could take care of you. You're perfect to me, and when you're my girlfriend, I promise I'll take even more special care of you than ever before."

What he said warmed my heart, and I felt deep appreciation for meeting such a guy like Jin.

It wasn't my mind that moved me to answer his question, but my heart.

"Then yes... I want to be yours." I say, and soon after I have said that, I heard some people clapping and cheering for us in the background, and that was when I realized there were alot of on lookers.

"Kiss her! Kiss her! Kiss her!" People started to chant as they clapped their hands, and my face warmed up so much, I think they could see my red face.

"Are you ready?" He asks me to make sure.

"Ready when you are-"

He pressed his lips on mine, and that caused an uproar from the onlookers.

"WHOO!" I even heard a man yell, and I started to smile during the kiss.

"We wish you both a happy relationship!" Some kind girls say, and Jin thanked them as he grabbed my hand in his, and we turned and started to walk the rest of the way home.

During our walk, I became quiet, since I began to feel even more shy.

Jin... is officially my boyfriend now?

My mind couldn't register the news either, and I freaked out a couple times in my head.

"Sumin? What are you thinking about?" He asked me, and I bit my lip.

"I-I was thinking about..."

"Tell the truth,"

"About having you as a boyfriend now," I say in a rush, and he chuckled.
