"Turn the music up!"
She says, and I reached forward, and pressed the button as the voices of GD and Taeyang began to blast throughout the car's speakers, feeling the vibration when the bass dropped.
"Woo!" She yelled as she put the window down, and put her hand out the window, as the wind blew our long hair around, and into our faces.
"Yah! Naeun! Put the window down!" I yelled at my sister who, unlike me, was enjoying the cold evening wind while I was getting cold, and the wind was whipping my hair into my face.
"No! It feels so much better this way!" She says, and I frowned at her.
"Aren't you cold? I said put the window down!" I say, and reached forward to her side of the side panel, and tried to feel for the button to pull her side of the window up.
"Yah! Sumin! Get back in your seat!" She yelled at me, looking down at me as she started to swat at my back, and I began to yell out in pain.
"That hurts!" I say, but was able to press the button so that the window was rolling up.
"Yah! I like the windows down!" She says after I sat back into my seat, and was glancing at the side door as she was pressing the button for the windows to roll down again.
"Aish, unnie!" I complained, reaching over again, but I lost my grip on where I was placing my hand, and slipped as I grabbed onto the steering wheel instead, making the car swerve.
"Omo!" Naeun looked back out the car as she put two hands on the wheel as she guided the car back between the lane again. "See what you did? We nearly crashed into that car next to us,"
"Well if you didn't put the windows up like I told you too, then maybe that wouldn't have happened!" I say, and crossed my arms across my chest and glared at her.
"Like I told you too? Yah! I'm your older sister here!" She says angrily as she looked over and reached and grabbed onto my ponytail, pulling it towards her.
"Say you're sorry!"
"Yah, yah! Let go!" I say, struggling as I reached up to take her hand off of my hair.
"Not until you say sorry," She says, and I got even more angry.
"You can't make me!" I say, and pulled her arm with such force, she began to lean on me, and her hand was on the steering wheel began to turn in, and the car began to turn.
"Ahhh!" We both screamed, and by the time I tried to let go of her arm, I turned and watched as we neared a car next to us, and saw the impact come before me.
The force of the cars colliding together was so great, my head hit the back of the window, causing a crack on the window, as I began to black out, my eyes shutting as I tried to reopen them.
Our car began to spin around in a circle, before it stopped completely, sideways.
Naeun took off her seatbelt, and reached over to me.
"Sumin! Sumin! Answer me!"She yelled, the desperation was clear in her tone, and I looked up at her, seeing the panic in her eyes.
"Thank god,"
She says breathlessly, and smiled at me as she reached over and touched my cheek.
"I thought you were a goner as I felt the impact more on your side-"
There were bright lights on the front side of the main window, and I turned my head over to look.
All I could just see were bright yellow headlights heading towards us, as the honking was loud and clear.
Before I could see the outlines of a truck... it was already too late.
It hit us front on, and broke all the glass in the front window.
As if in slow motion, I watched the broken glass come towards my eyes, seeing them reflect off the glare of the lights.
"Sumi!"
I heard my sister's voice echoed, before everything became pitch black.

The beeping of the heart monitor woke me up, and I began to stir.
The pain was all over my body, but mostly my head was shaken up the most.
"Oh! Sumin!" I heard my mother say as I felt her touch me, and my father's warm touch.
I opened my eyes, but all I could see was the same pitch black.
"Uisa seonsaengnim!" My father called for the doctor.
"She has woken up, so please remove the wrapping over her eyes so she could see,"
I felt the heavy fabric lift from my face after I heard them cut through the material, and sighed as I reached for my mother's hand for support.
"You can open your eyes now," The doctor said to me, and I bit my lip, and began to open them.
It was bright, and I closed my eyes again, but when I started to blink, I noticed something was off.
I looked down at my hands, to see the blurry outline of my hands, but not the sharp features that you're eyes are suppose to focus on.
I turned my hands over again, but I could only see the blurry tan color, but nothing else.
"O-omma... I-I can't see... I can't see!"
The tears began to pour down my face as the sound of the panic my mother and father had as they started to call the doctors in again.
But when I tried again and again to close my eyes, and open them back up again...
it never changed.
And that was when I knew... I was going blind.
