SEOKJIN'S P.O.V

"Well... you've done it." Namjoon says, patting my back, as we all stared at the orange envelope that was sitting on the coffee table.

"Aniyo... we've done it." I say, and reached over and grabbed the envelope, and opened the flap, and saw the check, and sighed, shaking my head in disbelievement.

"When are you going to give it to her?" Hoseok asked me.

"When it's time," I say, nodding to myself. "Which is today."

"Then we'll leave you at that," Yoongi says, and with that, they all got up and shuffled out of the living room. "Hyung... good luck."

I nodded a thanks, watching them leave and looked back down at the envelope in my hands.

Without their help along with the girls, I wouldn't even have the money in my hands right now.

This was how much we made, together with the talent show, and the cafe, but we all didn't tell Sumin, since thing was going to be a big surprise to her, and her family.

All she knows, is that I've won. She doesn't know that money was involved with the prize, so I have planned today to go over to her house, and surprise her with it.

With that thought in mind, I looked up towards the front door.

I walked towards her house, planning on what I should say to her when I meet her. I've never felt so nervous seeing her like this, even though it was a happy event.

I climbed up her front steps, and stopped before her front door, and took a deep breath before I knocked three times on the door.

After I knocked the third time, the door opened, revealing Sumin's mom.

"Annyeonghaseyo Mrs.Baek," I say as I bowed. "Is Sumin home? Can I speak with her?"

"Oh? I thought you were with her," She says, getting confused.

"What? She's not here right now?" I asked her.

"Um, just twenty minutes ago, a young man came by our house, and wanted to speak to Sumin too. I guess it was something urgent, and they left to go to the park to talk. I thought it was you,"

I frowned, as panic started take over me. "What did he look like?"

"He looked... very similar to you actually, but older." She says, and looked at me. "Do you have a brother?"

"Yes, I do. And I think that's who you're talking about," I said, and stepped away from the door. "Kamsahamnida, I'll be going to the park to meet them, then."

I bowed, and turned around as I started to jog out of her front yard, and headed towards the park.

As I jogged, the wandering thoughts of her being alone with my brother was nerve wreaking, since I was worried by what they were doing alone together.

The anticipation grew, so I rushed there faster.

I ran into the entrance of the park, and looked around to see Sumin or my brother around.

I ran down a little futher, and spotted Sumin sitting on the bench, and with his back facing me, I could tell that that was my brother sitting beside her.

I was a bit relieved to see her there, and unhurt, but that was for a little bit.

I was just close enough to hear their conversation, and I could tell that there was something wrong.

"I know I've been a bother to you, and I know that you hate me for what I did, but that's okay. I hate myself for that mistake of not visiting your sister at her funeral despite what had happened in our relationship."

"So you wanted to tell me that you've repented?" She says, and he sighed.

"Something like that... but mostly I'm begging for your forgiveness-"

"Aniyo." She cut him off. Her voice sounded almost monotone, and I could tell that talking about her sister was a hard subject to get though. "Please... don't ask for my forgiveness."

"No please... I've thought about it every night, how to tell you how deeply I am sorry-"

"I can't accept it... because I can't forgive myself first." She says, and closed her eyes. I could see her hands formed into tight fists on top of her knees as she sat.

"Why? I-I don't understand..." My brother trailed off.

"Because you're not the one who killed her. I did." She says, and the tears started to fall down her cheeks. "I was in the car with her while she was driving to a party during that night. And being the annoying little sister that I was, I distracted her from her driving... and one thing lead to another... we got into a fight, and she started to drift from the lane..."

"If I wasn't distracting her... then... then she still would be here. If I wasn't there... everything would've been so diffrent from now. So I'm... sorry about before, when I told you in order to gain forgiveness was to ask for Naeun's. I've realized it now that I was the one who needed the forgiveness from her, instead of you." She sobbed into her hands.

My brother bowed his head down, and I could tell he was trying his best to not cry, but I started to see his back was vibrating, and I knew he'd started to cry.

"Sumin... please don't think that you're the only one who feels the guiltiness, since I feel it too."

"Maybe it's the only connection we have though Naeun, huh?" Sumin says. "Then I've decided it. We'll go visit her soon, and beg for her forgiveness together until we run out of tears to cry anymore."

"It's a deal," My brother agreed, and they shook hands.

I stuffed the envelope into my pocket, and turn around around from them, wiping my own tears off of my cheeks. I sniffed, and was about to walk away, when my brother called me.

"Jin?"

I turned around, and saw him standing in front of me. His eyes were red and puffy from the tears, and he tried to wipe some more tears off his face. "What are you doing here?"

"I was going to ask you the same question when I first saw you here with her, but now I already know." I say, and took a deep breath. "I'm here to see Sumin."

I walked passed him, and stopped and patted his shoulder before I walked towards Sumin, and sat down on the bench with her.

She was still crying, her short breaths coming out as tears streamed down her face.

I reached forward and wiped her tears from her face with my thumb, and she let me. "You sure do cry prettily," I say, and smiled when she turned her face away from me, but that didn't stop me.

I reached around her shoulder, and pulled her closer to me, and gently guided her head so that she could lean on my shoulder. "If you're going to cry, at least you can use me as a support."

She was still crying, but I could hear her stifle a little laugh, and that made me smile, knowing that she was allowing me to comfort her like this, and that made me feel better.

Maybe the surprise can wait for a bit longer...

I thought as I looked down at my pocket... where the hidden orange envelope was.

Sumin finally forgave Jin's brother.
