My hand trembled as I traced the edge of my lips, finding the path before I applied lipstick on.

It was a slow process, but taking the time was much better than if you rushed.

I didn't bother with my eye makeup, and I sat there in front of the mirror. I tilted my head up, as I began to look up, to where I thought I was facing the mirror.

All I could see was the blurry color of my skin color, and a dark red color on the bottom middle of my face that appeared to be my lipstick color, and I sighed.

It was the wrong color again, and I reached forward and felt my way though until I found the tissue box, and wiped the color off my lips, before I reached forward and grabbed another lipstick.

This was why I never wore my makeup again, but today, it was different.

There was a soft knock on my door, and the familiar floral scent immediately told me it was my mother. When she came inside, I put the lipstick down.

When I didn't answer her, she came forward, and wiped the ridges of my lips, and helped me reapply the lipstick on. She then put her hands on both sides of my shoulders.

"Are you ready?"

I nodded my head. "Yeh, omma."

She began to rub my shoulders, and placed a kiss on the top of my forehead.

"That's what Naeun would like to hear you say."

Today was the first anniversary of her death.

The pain was still fresh like an open cut every time she was mentioned, and it pained me deeply.

But today... it was worse.

It was already one year since that horrible car accident, that left me blind and her... dead. I knew being blind was far better than dying, but still... after that happened...I never felt so alone and depressed.

The ride to the cemetery was silent, and I squeezed the car's arm handle tightly, but no tears would come.

When the car stopped, and I heard the sound of my parents unbuckling their seatbelts, I knew it was time to get out and I started to unbuckle my own.

My mom and dad both grabbed both of my arms, as they guided me towards the entrance way, where I knew there was other people here to commemorate Naeun, instead of only the three of us.

I concentrated on the sound of the grass crunching beneath our feet as we walked.

"Tag! You're it!"

I felt her poke on my back, and when I turned around, she was already running away from me.

"Naeun!" I called her, as I began to chase her around the playground. The summer breeze blew my hair back as I ran behind her. It was until she tripped, and fell face first into the ground.

I stopped in front of her fallen state, and began to point at her and laugh.

"Ahahahaha! You fell! Naeun is a paboya!"

She sat up and turned and looked at me, wearing an angry expression. "Moah?"

I was suddenly attacked by a wild Naeun, and I fell backwards onto the grass, knocking the air out of me as she started to tickle my sides. "What did you just call me?"

"AHAHHA!" I laughed, squirming around as she tickled my most ticklish spot... under my armpits. That was when I grabbed her arms, and pulled her down as we started to roll around on the glass.
