Sam POV
A boy had just walked into the office, but not just any boy. He was short, with long golden hair and amber colored eyes to match. He was wearing a dark red flannel and a green army jacket with skinny jeans, which made his waist and legs look as small as they were. He had a mischievous look in his eyes that gave me the immediate thought, I'm gonna hate this guy.
"Hey, Donna," he said, grinning at the secretary. "Sorry I'm late, my brother tried to make a milkshake for breakfast and forgot to put the lid on. My dad made us all clean it up." Ms. Noble laughed and said, "They're a handful, your brothers. I'm glad you made it out." The boy grinned wider. "There's a reason his name is 'Lucifer'."
Ms. Noble turned to me and said, "Gabriel, this is Sam Winchester. Sam, this is Gabriel Shurley. He'll be your translator until you graduate. I'm sure you'll get along great." Gabriel grinned towards me and held out his hand. "Nice to meet you, Sam Winchester." I shook his hand and signed, You too.
"Boys," Ms. Noble said. "You should get to class. You're sharing a schedule." I nodded politely at her and signed, Thank you. Gabriel turned to Ms. Noble and said, "My mom wants to know if you can come to dinner this Saturday." Ms. Noble laughed. "Well I'll tell you're mother thanks, but I can't. I have plans with Rose, Martha, and River."
Gabriel grinned up at me and looped his arm through mine. "Well, Sammy," Gabriel said, pulling a lollipop out of his pocket and sticking it in his mouth. "We should get to homeroom." I groaned inwardly. Whatever Dean or Ms. Noble said, I knew one thing. I would not be friends with Gabriel Shurley.
