Sam POV

Pretty much the entire first day was teachers letting students chill out and talk during class. I got to know Gabriel pretty well, since I had almost 7 hours to do it. He had three brothers and one sister, named Anna, Lucifer, Balthazar, and Castiel. (I think that's his name, Gabriel called him 'Asstiel' the entire time) Okay so maybe he seems cool. Doesn't mean he's not annoying.

I also learned that his mother is an English Literature teacher. We have her for fourth period. She seemed nice enough, though I could see why Gabriel said she was uptight. As we walked of the class, he turned to me and said, "I swear to god if you stick a lump of coal up my mom's ass, in two weeks you'd have a diamond."

Ferris Bueller? I signed. Gabriel grinned. "Very good, Winchester. I'm impressed." Well I do know movies, I signed back. "Ha ha." He said sarcastically.

After 7th period, Gabriel and I waited outside together. His older brother was picking him up so he decided to wait with me. A car pulled up to the curb we were standing at and a young man with dark brown hair and blue eyes opened the door. I caught a glimpse of his pale blue sweater and black skinny jeans.

"Hey, Gabe." He looked at me and said, "Oh, is this Sam?" Gabriel smiled brightly and nodded. "Sam, this is Cas." Cas leaned over the seat to shake my hand. "Gabe has been texting me all day about you. He's excited to be able to help you." Gabriel blushed and I smiled over at him. He was actually pretty cute.

Before Gabriel got into his brother's car, he pulled a sticky note out of his pocket. "Here, Samsquatch." He said grinning. Gabriel climbed into the car and closed the door. Right before Cas pulled away, Gabriel winked at me through the window. After they were gone, I opened the sticky note and immediately blushed.

It was his phone number.

I waited for about ten minutes before Dean drove up. I jumped into his car with a smile on my face. "Hey, Sammy. You make any friends?" I nodded and continued to stare at the sticky note. "Who?" Dean asked as he pulled out of the school parking lot. Gabriel Shurley. He's my new translator, I signed.  "Well I'm glad you get along with your new translator. I know it was hard on you when Kevin graduated." Dean said.

I nodded again and stuffed the note into my jeans pocket. When we got home, Dean tossed his arm around my shoulder. "I'm proud of you for finally making friends. You usually just stay away from people." I smiled and shook his arm off. "Hey, don't reject my love!" He grinned and I stuck my tongue out at him.

When we got inside, our mom greeted us at the door. "Sammy!" She smiled widely and hugged me. "How was your first day with your new translator? I know it's always hard to get a new one and you don't really communicate with people but-"

"Mom!" Dean said. "I think you're crushing him." She pulled back said, "Was it okay??" I nodded. She sighed in relief. "Thank god, I've been worried all day that you wouldn't like them. What are they like?" His name is Gabriel and he seems okay, I signed.

"Good, now go up to your room and out your stuff away. Dean, I need your help with dinner." Dean groaned loudly and mom slapped his shoulder. He grinned at me as he and mom walked into the kitchen. I walked upstairs to my room and pulled out the note. I stared at the number and pulled out my phone.

I opened a new contact and entered his number under the name Gabriel. Just in case.
