Ariana's P.O.V.

"I love you" I blurted out closing my eyes so I didn't have to see his reaction.

I felt the pair of arms fall flat from my waist. Which made me grip onto the metal bar tightly, and bite my lip nervously.

The area was silent the only sound was the faint music that played and the splash of the pond water.

Shaky breaths fell from my parted lips as I slowly decided to turn around.

The silence was scaring me and I swear I felt like just dying then and there. I was now faced to him or at least I think him.

My eyes hurt from squeezing them so tight so I had to open them. I opened them and bright colors of orange and blue slightly splashed my vision but disappeared as I now focused my attention to the tall boy who stood leaning into the tree looking down with his hands in his pockets.

He looked confused which scared me but I let it go and decided to speak.

"Say something" I state my voice cracking a bit.

He looked sternly at the ground, his hands tucked under his jacket as he bit his lip nervously.

I feel like I shouldnt have said anything, like anything I knew this was stupid but I wanted to get it off my chest.

My Heart was slowly dying as this silence was killing me. I was slowly hurting just because of it. Fiddling with my hair I stepped closer to him.

"Niall?"

He scratched his head before looking up at me frowning.

"I uh, maybe we should go" he says stepping away and fixing his jacket and walking to the table grabbing my sweater and handing it to me.

"Y-yeah okay" I say taking my sweater and not even thanking him or acknowledging him anymore.

I knew I've made a fool of myself and I just knew it was dumb and I hate everything right now.
I speed walked away from the beautiful now dull area to the pathway.

I heard pounding of feet belonging to the heartbreaker niall. He walks next to me trying to catch up.

"Babe-"

"Its Ari" I bluntly spoke.

"A-ari you should carry the light we could get lost"

"I know my way just fine"

"Im-"

"Look Niall, I just wanna go home and forget any of this ever happened" I say stopping in my tracks angrily lifting up my sweater.

It was quiet for a minute again before he just nodded and agreed.

"Okay i understand" he lowly said leading the way out.

The walk to the car was quiet and the drive home was awkward, I just didn't speak to him. We made it home, and I hopped out of the car quick. I didn't even notice I was walking fast until I heard my name being yelled.

"Ariana"

The more he called the more I walked.

"Ariana i know you hear me"

My arm was grabbed and yanked me around till my body collided with his own.

"Ari stop running away from me!"

I pushed him away just for him to pull me back.

"Why? So I can stand here in front of you and look stupid!"
