Chapter 5

Ariana's P.O.V.

So far my time at time at campus has been bitter sweet. I reunited with my best friend, and made new friends. Well i guess you could call them friends. I have only been here for two weeks. Within those two weeks, I've been to all three of my classes on time and i guess you can say all professors love me. I specifically love my music class because all of the people i met are in it. Plus its the only class that i could enjoy. I enjoy it the most because I'll be able to sing there, perform and play all types of instruments.

A downside is, is that we haven't fully started singing and showcasing our talents yet. Right a bout this moment we were doing some sort of vocal exercise. The professor Mr.V, is actually one of the coolest people i have met. He has a quirky personality and he's just always happy. I dont know how anyone can be that happy.

"Alright guys, we only have two minutes left so gather around. Now listen, i know there is gonna be a party tonight and i know how bad those can get so, help me out and don't get completely drunk" He says before releasing us. I gathered my belongings and placed them in my bag. 

"Hey girl, are you going to the party tonight." Jaide asked me as she opens the door for us to leave. 

"Nah i dont think so. Parties arent my thing" Its true. The only parties i go to are birthday parties and my cousins Quinceanera.

"Seriously? Come on everyone goes to a party at least once in there life." he whole walk to the cafe she continued to lecture me about why i needed to party.

"Jaide, give it up. She's never gonna go. Trust me i tried in high school" Perrie added as she butted in the conversation. At least shes right, i bailed on going to a lot of parties in high school.

"I just don't see a point in going to a house filled with people i do not like nor know, and getting completely shit faced. Just to wake up the next morning near a toilet somewhere with an outrageous headache. Sorry i'll pass" 

"Well its not always like that, you can dance and let loose. You aren't supposed to think about the after math. You think about the way you'll feel during. Come on, don't be a prude"

"I'll pass" I said grabbing a container of cut  fruit. I think fruit is the only healthy thing i actually really like. I really got to fix my diet.

"Fine i give up. I still think you should go."

"I appreciate you trying" She just gave me a look before plopping down in her seat. We all sat down for a while, talking away and getting to know each other more. Soon enough it began to get dark and the cafe was closing so we all went our separate ways.  I began to walk but i realized perrie wasnt coming. "Hey perrie, you coming?" 

"Oh one second" She said something to jaide and camryn before coming towards me. "Hey um, im gonna go with them to the party tonight. I hope you arent mad" 

"No, no of course not. Go ahead" Im not gonna lie was a bit hurt that she was going. I was now about to spend my night alone doing nothing. "I promise i'll come back and watch a marathon of Glee with you tonight. Okay love you see you later!" She says hugging me and running off with the girls.

"Yeah, see you.." 

I made my way down the path to the dorm building. The walk wasnt so bad. It was already pitch black out, but the lamp post and the lights along the buildings made it brighter. I was on my phone once i heard a faint voice in the distance. I ignored it the first time, but once it came back i heard it again. Stopping in my tracks i gazed around the empty area to see nothing but darkness. 

"What the hell?" As soon as i stepped a body came semi crashing into me making me drop my phone. "Jesus Christ watch where you are going-" I looked up to see the boy i met two weeks ago, the curly haired, rock band guy.

"Oh shit, im so sorry" He says picking up his skate board and my phone. Quickly handing it to me i checked and It wasn't broken, thank god. 

"I can buy you another one" he said rubbing his head.

"No, no its not broken. No big deal uh-"

"Ashton" 

"Oh yea, Ashton. Yeah well dont worry" I gave him a small smile and continued my way to the dorm. 

"Hey, let me walk with you, its a bit dark out" 

"I think i'll be fine. Thank you though"

He looked a little down but let me walk off. Just as i was walking i remembered that i was going to an empty dorm. To do nothing but sit and stare at the walls. "Hey ashton?" He turned around quick givning me a confused facial expression. 

"Are you busy tonight?" 

"Actually i have plans" 

"Really?" Not gonna lie i felt turned down, but the smile appearing on his lips told me other wise. 

"No, none whats so ever" He said as he started playing with his hair

"Hang out with me?"

This chapters a bit shorter but it will pick up in the next chapter
