Chapter 73

Ariana's P.O.V.

The game had started about an hour ago. Niall was tired to the max as i could see him taking a breather and a sip of water. The droplets of sweat were all upon his face and his shirt was drenched inn no time. Soon enough he threw down his bottle of water and went to talk to his group along with the coach.

"Geez Ari, you're on the edge of your seat. nervous?'' Calum asked placing a hand on my back with a smile on his face.

"yeah I'm fine Its just niall I'm scared for him"

"why?" Michael asked sipping his soda. I swear he's always eating whenever I see him.

"You see those guys over there?" I said pointing to the slightly older men who were dressed in suits. "They are coaches of this famous football aka soccer team in Ireland and they are here evaluating niall and some of the other players. Its a really big deal and I'm nervous" I explained looking back out into the field.

The game had just started back up and i shh'd anyone who was about to ask another question. At the moment the other team had the ball and i couldn't tell who had it but soon enough jace came up and stole it back and made his way down the opposite end of the field. Niall sent some sort of signal before jace swiftly kicked it to adam, hes another player, soon enough adam kicked it to niall and niall quickly shuffled past the other team players and kicked the ball straight into the goal.

The game continued along just like that, Niall wasn't making every goal. He took turns and let other players shine also. The game was coming to an end. We had 12 while the other team had 12 also. Just one more shot and we win. I could see the anxiety in everyone's eyes. Coach pulled at his hair while nearly everyone was on the edge of their seats.

Every player ran and kicked the single ball trying their best to block on another. Soon enough i saw niall come up against a brunette with spiky hair. They've been neck and neck this whole game. The brunette kicked the ball from under niall and made his way to his goal, doing some fancy foot work. Soon enough jacob kicked it from the guy and straight to niall. Niall quickly ran down the field and in a split second he kicked it straight past his opponent and into the goal.

The crowd erupted in cheers just as the final buzzer rung. I jumped up along with everyone in excitement. They won! The crowd ran down the bleachers in celebration as the cheerleaders danced and blue and white flags were waved. Random that there are cheerleaders at a soccer game.

I got up from my seat and pushed through the crowds of people who were just now leaving. I couldn't see anything until i finally got through the people. I saw our team hugging each other and jumping for joy. Im actually so proud of them, winning almost every game and now ending with a bang.

I finally caught a glimpse of niall as he was laughing and giving a guy hand shake to that same guy with the spiky hair. I didn't even care about interrupting him but i just ran up and wrapped my hands around his neck as he lifted me up in hug.

"im so proud of you!" i said pressing a kiss to his lips.

"Sorry im third wheeling" The guy said chuckling and easing away. 

"hold up mate, i want you to meet my girlfriend" Niall said wrapping his arm around my lower waist. I finally got a good look at the guy, he had a blue/greenish eyes and facial hair. 

"Im ariana, sorry for interrupting you guys" i said holding my hand out.

"No reason to apologies i get it. Im Louis by the way" he says politely shaking my hand. His voice was cute it was a bit squeaky and raspy at the same time. He also hand an accent so im assuming he's British.

"this is one of my old friends back in the UK/Ireland." Niall says all happy.

"yeah we use to travel back and forth from the UK and Ireland just to play football" Louis adds on

"yeah it was shocking that i was competing against him tonight and i won, i never beat tommo ever!" 

"Cool it nialler, it was a on time thing" They shared a laugh before the tables were turned on me "Nialler aye you settled down, what a shocker" Louis says patting niall on the back.

''Funny, how about you?" 

''Nah not yet, but im not really looking for anyone."

"Yo niall there is a party in about an hour at bryans house, you comin'?'' Jace said from afar.

"Yeah, Yeah definitely ill see you there" Niall yelled back and returned to the conversation.

I was hoping me and niall could have hung out tonight, but i guess not. I mean im not that upset about it since it is his big night i cant complain. I think its good he go have fun with the lads and drink let loose because he deserves it. Niall has been pretty trust worthy since we started talking and dating, so i know he wouldn't have sex with a random tonight. I still have that feeling in the pit of my stomach that still thinks he might, but i push it aside.

"Louis, you should come. I can show ya around." Niall says to louis. Im still just standing there not saying anything. Now im the third wheeler.

"Sure thing, ariana you should come! I'd love to hear about who's got nialler here so whipped" Louis replied by placing his hand on nice shoulder then looking at me.

"Yeah babe you should come with us" He says looking at me and finally wrapping his arm around me tighter.

"Um no, im good" I answered with a friendly smile.

His eyebrows furrowed at my sudden mood change "You sure, you'll be all alone then" he pointed out but i quickly made an excuse. "Ill call up Perrie and Camryn it'll be fine" i say pulling a smile. He gives me another weird look before nodding his head still unsure.

"Well niall my dad wanted to see you, He's around over there come with me" Louis jumped in and nodded his head over for niall to follow him as he walked away. "Nice meeting you ariana!" he yelled.

"One minute!" niall says waving before looking at me once more. "Are sure?" he asked again, im starting to feel bad cause it sounds like he wants me to go. "Yes, now go have fun, ill just see you later, okay?" 

"Okay, i wont stay out that long!" he says smiling and jogging away backwards. "Love you" 

"Love you too" he finally turned away and i was now alone on the field. Well besides the cleaner guys. I called up perrie and told her to meet me here again before i finally left and continued on with my night. As i sat on the curb waiting for perrie and camryn i too that time to think about certain things. This is how i will be. Alone and no dream or anything. 

Perrie is heading to New York City to be on Broadway. Noah will become a pianist. Camryns a fashion designer and dancer. The boys will start music careers, and Niall. Well Niall is leaving me for Ireland. A full on guarantee that hell become a member of the soccer team and live on. Then me, i have no idea what im doing, Im not making an moves for myself and quite frankly iv'e given up on singing. Singing was my top priority when i first came to college. Singing was everything t me and now iv'e just given up.

 But not anymore. I need to stop whining and not doing what i need to do. If i want to sing and act or model im going to do that. It just feels like something, or someone is there holding me back. Then there are moments like these where i decide, love or my career.
