The house was truly profligate. I could get my full days worth of exercise on the stairs that led up to the house itself. Alex slipped his hand out of mine and lifted the luggage as we walked up the stairs despite m protests. He only let me help once he was up the stairs, not out of breath at all, and there were no more stairs for me to walk up.
"I could have lifted it Alex."
"I have plans for you, so I'm not letting you get hurt on the first day we are here." He said jokingly as he held the door open for me.
"What do you have planned for me?"
"You mean besides revenge for what you did to me in the car?"
"You won't do anything." I stated as he led my through the house.
I was wrong, there were stairs to climb, but Alex once again took my bag from me. He walked up the stairs and then placed my bags down again. No wonder he was so fit, he must have run up and down these stairs growing up. That would also explain why he seems to have a permanent light tan.
"I will do everything if I have to." Alex said threateningly as he led me to a bedroom.
"What does that mean?" I asked curiously.
"You'll see. Now put your stuff down so we can eat." Alex said rubbing his hands together in anticipation as he threw his bag down on the bed.
"Are we sharing a room?"
"Oh yes, part one of my revenge." Alex said with a lustful smile.
"I could just change rooms." I suggested as I put my bag on the bed and slipped my hand into his.
"You could, but I would follow. I'm very persistent."
"I kind of figured when you kept assigning me male tutors and then switching them." I said as I kissed his cheek.
"I forgot how horny teenagers are."
"Didn't like how they were touching me Alex?"
"Hell no. They shouldn't touch what is taken by someone else. Those marks should have been enough to stop them, they would have when I was in school." He growled as we walked back down the stairs.
"Kids change in five years, Alex."
"I've noticed, and I don't like it. Why do you have to be so attractive to every male, Kelsey. God, you're just too sexy for my sanity." Alex said as he pushed me against the wall lightly and started to mark me again.
"I'm not attractive, every girl is prettier than I am." I said honestly. Alex stopped immediately and looked me dead in the eye with an odd expression.
"What did you say?"
"Every girl is prettier than I am."
"What on earth makes you think that or what dumbass made you think that? Because I can guarantee I have never felt this way about a student before and I had girls in high school throwing themselves at me." Alex said with a slight smile as he kissed my neck again.
"It's just how I feel. After Caleb, I just felt like that."
"I really hate that guy, but you're wrong. You're stunningly beautiful and I'm lucky to claim you."
"Whatever you say Alex, we could debate this all day." I said trying to move forward with the conversation.
"We could, but I would win." He stated confidently.
"What makes you think that?"
"Because I know the best way to get you to stop arguing."
"How's that?" I asked curiously as he leaned into me. I was hoping it was kissing me, because I would stop everything to kiss him and feel his lips on mine. I wanted to feel that burning passion blaze through me again.
"I'd kiss you, just like this." Alex said, making my heart swoon as his lips touched mine.
He ended the kiss too soon after that, but I had a taste of the love I wanted to feel every day. The subtle pull to be with him, and the overwhelming urge to jump him every chance I got. I would love to sleep with him every night, and wake up to have sex with him first thing in the morning.
He pulled away and smiled, "Time for food!"
"Wow." I stated shaking my head as he pulled me into the kitchen. I glanced outside at the setting sun once Alex left me at the table to prepare the food. I had no idea what he was making, but at this moment I didn't care. I was in the Florida Keys for a week with the man of my dreams.
I sighed softly as the sky turned red to a dark purple. The stars were going to start shinning brightly in a matter of minutes and I couldn't wait. I loved being able to see the stars at night instead of being blinded by the city lights.
"Would you like to eat outside?" Alex asked.
I turned around to see that he was holding tacos and cheesecake. I let out a laugh remembering that the last time he had cheesecake I ended up wearing it on my dress and he even remembered it was at a taco restaurant.
"I would love to." I said as he led the way outside to the patio.
As I looked at the table that was on the patio I knew Alex had planned this. He had one single tall candle on the table along with red and white mixed roses on my seat. Even though tacos and cheesecake were our dinner, it was still the most romantic gesture I had ever received.
"How did you know?" I asked looking at the roses as tears started to prickle in my eyes.
"I just kind of felt that they were right. I saw them in the grocery store and they just felt like you. You're crying, did I do something wrong?" Alex asked as he instantly came to my side and took my face in his hands.
"You didn't do anything wrong." I said as a single tear trailed down my cheek.
"Then why are you crying my love?"
"You are so perfect to me. These flowers, this place, this trip, you; it's amazing and it's a lot to take in." I said with a smile. I could see the worry in his eyes, the tinkle in his green eyes as he looked at me.
"I'm glad I make you happy, just please don't cry. It hurts me to think you're so upset that you're in tears."
"I will do my best." I promised with a smile as I leaned into kiss him. "It's food time now." I said with a smile as if I was reading his mind.
"Yes! I've been craving tacos since I almost kissed you in that restaurant." Alex said with a chuckle.
"It's been like three months since that. Why didn't you just go to a Taco Bell?" I asked curiously.
"And not have a date with you over tacos and cheesecake? What's the fun of doing this by myself?"
"I guess you're right." I said with a smile, letting the date comment slide this time. Alex as starting to get comfortable with the idea and I wasn't going to have him fight it any longer.
All a part of Brittney's and Kenzie's plans. Something was starting to tell me they had planned this, but I couldn't figure out how exactly.
"Look a shooting star!" Alex said pointing out a comet like pattern in the sky.
"Make a wish!" I said excitedly.
"It already came true, you're here." Alex said as he smiled, showing off the taco meat and cheese in his teeth.
"Ew Alex, that's not romantic." I said with a laugh.
"I swear I will brush my teeth before we go to bed."
"You better or I'm kicking you out of bed!" I said as my fork sliced through the cheesecake with ease.
"You wouldn't dare, you'd be too busy using my body." He said as he straightened his back and showed off his body.
"That's true, then help me eat this and then we can get in bed together." I said with a wink.
"I can't I'm watching my figure." He stated jokingly as he gestured to his body with a smirk on his face.
"Oh yeah, you've got one girlish figure. Do you know how many girls would kill to have that figure?" I asked jokingly.
"Oh, that's it! Bed now Miss Henderson. I'm going to give you an anatomy lesson." He said as he lifted me from my chair and carried me inside toward our bedroom.
