"That's it for today, I will see you guys tomorrow." Mr. Kaynes said good bye to everyone as they left. Making the girls giggle with glee. They were the same ones who, not so quietly, whispered that he was cute the whole time during class.

"Ms. Henderson, can you stay after class for a few minutes." I looked up from shoving my notebook into my back pack.

A chorus of 'ohhh' surrounded me. I thought we were done with that in high school, bunch of childish brats. We were legal adults, now I know why actual adults look at us like children. A majority still act like Freshmen in high school.

Ugh, I always hated freshmen. They always thoughts they were high and mighty because they were in high school.

"You're kidding right?" I asked Mr. Kaynes before I could stop the words from leaving my mouth.

 My Bad.

"No I'm not kidding. Come see me when you're done please." He turned and walked toward his desk to wait for me.

"Oh he's got a cute butt." Zoey said with a smile that showed two rows of perfectly straight teeth. She never had braces either!

"Really Zoe?" Mackenzie said shaking her head in disapproval.

"I can't help it. He's so cute." Zoe said with a sigh as she swiped her blonde hair from her face and   put her purse over her shoulder to leave class. "And it's not fair that Kelsey gets to spend more time with him."

"Shut up." I said walking down the staircase, passing row and row of desks until I hit the floor and paused.

"Go get him. Then tell me how good he is." Zoey giggled then skirted out of the room before I could retort or nail her in the back the head.

"What's wrong with her?" I rhetorically asked Mackenzie as she walked by.

"Her libido doesn't calm down for anyone under 25." She said with a straight face, I laughed, until she couldn't hold in the laughter anymore and laughed with me.

All 5'4 of her shook with laughter. Her light brown hair cascaded over  her shoulders and hid her face slightly as she leaned into her laugh. It hid her pale complexion and the sprinkled freckles that lay across her cheeks and the bridge of her nose.

"Oh, Zoey said she wanted to talk to us tonight. We're going out so look like something instead of that." Kenzie said pointing to my skinny jeans tucked into my combat boots. I had pulled my old high school swim sweat over my Broadway Cheerleader shirt in a rush to get out of the house this morning.

"I was in a rush!"

"Yeah, I'm sure. Which is why you wore almost the same outfit the day before and the day before that and the day before-"

I put my hand up to stop her from continuing, "I get the point. I will get dressed up and look like something."

"I will be coming over to do your hair and make up too." Kenzie stated before I could reject the idea.

I sighed, it was pointless to argue. It was just going to happen, whether I wanted it to or not. "That's fine. I will see you then."

"Good luck." Kenzie said pointing to Mr. Kaynes before she walked out of class.

I sighed heavily so both Mr. Kaynes and Mackenzie could hear it as I turned and walked toward his desk.

"Mr. Kaynes?" I asked as I approached his desk. "You wanted to see me?"

"Yes I did, thank you for not calling me Alex again. I will not have that." His words held no emotion, but I stepped back slightly, I felt hurt by that. I only called him Alex because he wan't my teacher, I thought he was some random guy that hit on girls late at night.
