Chapter 3: Escape

MIKAS POV:

I hear Yuu breathe "Mika" before he falls to the floor, his body limp. I gasp suddenly, his own blood running from my mouth. I stand still for a moment, taking in what I've done to my best friend. Then my knees give way and I fall to the floor next to him. I feel tears prickle in my eyes and I let them fall. I'm a monster.
"Yuu?" I whisper, uncertain at first as to if he's conscious or not. When he doesn't reply I panic.
"Yuu!" I say, louder this time. "YUU" I'm screaming now. "YUU WAKE UP! YOU CANT DIE ON ME! IM SO SORRY!" I bend over him and put my arms around him.
Suddenly the door bursts open and Kimizuki appears in the door way.
"GET OFF OF HIM YOU BLOODSUCKER!" He shouts. I whip my head up. Then I pounce on him. I grab his shirt by the collar and force him up against the wall, strangling him.
"Let go of him!" A small voice says from the doorway. I turn my head to see Yoichi cowering in the hallway.
"Come near Yu and I'll slit your throat!" I threaten. Yoichi starts to cry. Shinoa and Mitsu obviously hear him because they come running at once.
"What the hell is happening in here?!" Mitsu exclaims, then she turns around to see Yu on the floor and screams. Shinoa sees Yus' limp body too but keeps her cool. She turns to me immediately.
"MIKA! WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU DONE!?" She shouts.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO SEE YU WITHOUT US AROUND!" Mitsuba joins in.
I look around suddenly in panic. What have I done? What kind of monster have I become? I could have killed my best friend, I've almost strangled Kimizuki, I made Yoichi cry. I drop Kimizuki, who falls to the floor, gasping for breath. I look around to see the only escape route is the half open window above the bed.
"If Yu wasn't so attached to you we'd have no reason not to kill you!" Says Mitsu, now at Yus' side. That's when I can't take it. I freak out and run out the window, out into the woods that surround our house...

AN: Sorry for the really bad chapter name but I didn't know what else to call it. And this is already the third chapter and I know no real Mikayuu has happened yet but it will in the next few chapters hopefully so keep reading!! Also I realised half way through that Yuu's name is actually spelt 'Yu' so I've been spelling it wrong the whole time! (Omg fake fan) also if you didn't read the last chapter, please read the chapter titled 'Things that need to be cleared up...' As its kinda important. Thank you so much ily all <3 ^_^
