Chapter 8: "I Killed Innocent Children"

YU'S POV:

I opened my eyes to be blinded by a bright white light. 'Oh god, not this again.' I think to myself.

"Oh look who it is." I hear a familiar voice behind me and roll my eyes and slowly get up.

"Asuramaru, do we really have to do this again?" I sigh. I hear his devious laugh and realise that I have no choice. For gods sake.

"So, you confessed your feelings, but your scared to admit their true? Hmmm, humans are confusing. And stupid. Even more stupid than that... vampire 'friend' of yours." I turn around to see Asuramaru perching on the handle of my sword. Demons are strange creatures.

"What I feel towards Mika is none of your business." I say. Why does he always have to get involved. He just laughs hysterically.

"When you admitted your feelings to Shinoa, I could see she clearly want happy. She was... What's the word... Jealous?" He smirks.

"What!" I say suddenly. "Why would Shinoa be jealous, she doesn't even know I have those feelings for Mika, she didn't hear me."

"That's what you think." He smiles his devious smile.

"What do you mean, Asuramaru, don't do this again!" I shout, but before I can put up a decent protest, my vision starts to blur and all Asuramarus features become a fuzzy mess I front of me, until they fade to nothing.

I open my eyes for a second time, to be blinded once more. The trees above she are spinning a little and the sides of my vision is blurry. I can feel the wet, dewy grass on my hands and feel relieved to know I'm on hard, sturdy soil once more. I slowly push myself up into a sitting position, which messes with my head, but I push the strong sense of dizziness aside. Then I remember how I fell and start looking around, desperately trying to find the white figure. That's when I hear it. The sobs. How did I not hear them before. I turn around, sending a sharp pain through my neck. I wince and ignore it. I see the white figure, hunched over in a heap. I notice their clothes aren't as white as I thought, covered in blood stains everywhere.

"Mika?" I say, unsure. The crying stops temporarily and then, as he turns around, the waterworks start up again.

"Yu! You're alive!" He cries and flings himself on me.

"What do you mean?" I say, wrapping my arms gently around his blood stained body. He stays there for a moment which feels like eternity. Something inside me wishes it could have been longer. But he pulls away and looks me straight in the eyes. Damn, his blue eyes were beautiful and I miss them so much, but his red eyes are gorgeous.

"I thought I killed you the first time you passed out, so I ran away. I was so angry with myself. I didn't know what to do. So, I let my vampire side take over me and I killed a bunch of innocent human kids because I'm a horrible, greedy bloodsucker." He starts welling up again at this point. "Then, I realised way it reminded me of. It reminded me of the time when we tried to escape the vampires, and Ferid killed our whole family, except, this time, I was Ferid..." He was in floods of uncontrollable tears now. "I killed innocent children, Yu! All because I thought you were dead!" He shakes his head, his blonde hair glistening in the sun. "I thought it would be an embarrassment to come home, so I decided to stay in these woods, in hiding. And then I saw you! Or what I thought was you. So I came to hug you but I think I hit you too hard and knocked you out. I panicked and was about to run away again when you woke up." His tears aren't stopping as he looks at me, silent. I don't know what to say. We sit there, in silence for a few moments, and then, something happens. I don't know how or why.
It just did.

AN: I loved writing this chapter omg! So I'm actually getting to the Mikayuu part of the story! *cheers* I hope you enjoy it! anyways, if anyone has any creative chapter names for these following cheaters, please let me know bc they're really bad! :

Chapter 7: Feelings
Please, I desperately need good chapter names! Also, this chapter name is kinda scary, but what else was I supposed to call it!
