Morning

When I woke up again it was 8:30 and Jason was gone but I could hear the shower going. To lazy to get up and face the world, I buried my self deep into the covers.

The shower then turned off and seconds later the door opened. I could smell Jason's wet woodsy scent and he smelt so good.

"Come on Avery get up" Jason chuckled.

I moaned and buried deeper into the covers hoping to trick him in thinks I'm awake.

"You can't trick me babe. I know your awake" Jason walks over and starts to pull the covers off.

"Nooo" I moaned and grabbed the covers.

"Come on babe. Let's go get breakfast" Jason stopped pulling on the covers.

"Breakfast?" I asked and stopped pulling the covers.

"Yes anything you want" he chuckled. Jason the walked over to his drawers and threw me a shirt and shorts.

I then realized I was still naked from last night. I grabbed the shirts and shorts and pulled them on under the covers. "Jason what about school?" I ask getting up and out of bed.

"We're both taking a sick day. Probably for the rest of the week."

"What?! Why?! Jason I already started a month late! I can't miss any more school. My grandma won't allow it." I panicked.

"We have too. And I'll help you ketch up" he just shrugged.

"Why?"

"Because I missed the semi finals game but it was worth it" Jason turned around and kissed me sweetly.

I kissed him back but had to pulled away "that doesn't answer my question"

Jason sighed " because if I go back to school today and coach sees me he will kill me for missing the game. So we will play sick."

"But why do I have to miss school?" I asked still confused.

"Because I'm not staying home alone and your not going to school while your in heat" he said smiling and wrapped his arms around me.

"What!? I am not going into heat" I almost screamed shocked.

"Sshhhh it's okay. Chill Av. I can sense and smell you even if you cant. We're mated now, we're linked." He smiled down at me.

"What?! What are do you mean we linked and that you can sense and smell me?!" I pushed out of his arms and stared at him.

Jason sighed "I mean we are linked together in our minds and I can sense everything about you. No matter where you are I will be able to sense your feelings and where you are. I can smell you because I'm your mate and your scent is already more intoxicating to me. Soon all the males will be able to smell you with in a mile radius. Your not leaving my sight then" Jason growled lightly at the end and pulled me back into his arms.

"What do you mean sense where I am?"

"I me if I was sitting in my office and you called for me while you were on a walk I would be able to hone in on our mate connection and be able to tell if your were north or south of me and how far you were. Your should know this Avery." He stared at me.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't a wolf long while I lived in my pack." I looked away from him.

I knew about mates but never knew all the technicalities and stuff. You learn that when you actually turn wolf. That's when you can find your mate. Before you turn into your wolf for the first time you will only feel a small pull towards your mate but you won't be able to truly know if that person is your mate until you shift.
