Wake Up

The basement didn't have any windows and since all the lights were off the basement stayed pitch dark. We all finally woke up after Naomi came down and woke us up at 12.

"Come on everybody, get up. It's time to face the world and live life." Naomi smiled at us as she took in all the sleeping teenagers in her cellar.

"Ten more minutes" I heard Jace grumble into his pillow.

"What time is it" Skye asked as she sat up and looked at her phone. "O my god! it's twelve o'clock!"

"We did go to bed late. Like 4 I'm the morning late" Jason yawned next to me and sat up.

"Come on everybody. I have lunch ready for all of you and I expect you to be up and eating in ten minutes" she stated to all of us and looked in Jaces way as she said 10 minutes.

I slowly stretched out all my limbs and slowly sat up. I looked around to see everybody do the same.

"Come on everybody. We don't want her to send my dad down to get us again." Jason said as he stood up and reached down to help me up.

"Again?" I yawned as I let him pull to my feet "what happened the first time?"

"The last time we all had asleep over down here and didn't get up she sent my dad down who set off a loud air horn. Let's just say that it got all of us up fast" Jason explained as he walked over to Jace's still sleeping form. "let's go bud. We got to get up" Jason the pushed Jace with his foot.

"No" Jace whined and swatted Jason's foot away.

"You want my dad to come down here?" he asked.

"Urgh I'm up" Jace grumbly said and sat up. He looked around for the first time and liked confused for a second. it was so cute to see him in the morning. he was like a 5 year old.

"Come on Avery let's go get some lunch. It smells good." Sammi smiled tiredly at me and walked towards the stairs.

She was right. The aromas of a delicious lunch was climbing down the stairs and into my nose. I slowly fallowed her up stairs and into the bright light of morning. I blinked a few times till my eyes adjusted to the light. On the breakfast bar was a huge buffet of food laid out for us waiting to be eaten with Naomi puting the last of the food out.

"Wow thank you Naomi" I smiled at her.

"O your welcome sweetheart. It was my pleasure." she smiled back and handed me and Sammi plates.

We both piled food into our plates and went to go sit at the dining table. When we sat down Skye, Damon and Alex walked up. They all looked like sleeping zombies which brought a smile to my face.

"That was so much fun Avery." Sammi smiled at me and started to eat her breakfast.

"Yea we definitely have to do that more often" I smiled back and dug into my food.

Everybody else then started to pile out of the basement and got food. Jason and Jace we the last ones to walk out and I could see that Jason was practically pushing Jace out of the basement.

I smiled at Jason once he walked in. he quickly returned the smile and walked over to stand behind me.

"Good morning" he grinned down at me and kissed me.

"It's actually good afternoon" I giggled to him up to him.

He laughed with me and lifted me out of my seat and quickly sat down and placed me on his lap. I started to get use to siting on his lap and just excepted it. I returned to my food and scooped up some food to put in my mouth but before I could Jason reached up with his hand and pushed the spoon into his mouth instead of mine.

"Hey! get your own food" I complained to him. He just smirked at me and took my spoon away and kept with my food.

"Fine. Just leave me the bacon" I sighed, knowing Jason was going to do what he wanted.

He nodded his head and feed me some bacon. I smiled up at him and eat the bacon.

After I chewed I heard giggling from my right and looked to see Skye smiling at us. I looked around to see almost everyone had watched us. A blush quickly reached my cheeks as I looked down embarrassed.

Jason chuckled at me and hugged my close to his chest. "So what is everybody doing today since I'm guessing no ones going to school." He asked everybody.

"I was thinking of going to the mall. I want to look for a dress to wear when Avery's grandparents come over tomorrow night. Would anyone like to come?" Skye offered and looked to all the girls.

"Sure" Lilly smiled at her.

"Sorry, I can't. I'm have to run the perimeter at 2 with Michael and Jordan. I don't want to rush you guys" Sammi sadly politely declined..

"Other pack members" Jason whispered in my ear after he was y confused look.

"You guys whana go with them. I want to go check out the new xbox game that just came out" Jace looked over at Damon, Darek and Alex.

"Sorry Jace I got to train the pups this afternoon" Darek apologized after Alex and Damon said yes.

"Avery? Jason?" Skye looked over to us.

"Me and Avery have business at the pack prison today we need to take care of" Jason quickly replied to his sister and looked down at me.

Ryan.

How could I have forgotten my brother? I am such a terrible sister! I had a great night with my friends and mate while my brother was still locked up in a cell.

"It's ok Avery. Calm down" Jason reassured me and kissed my neck.

Everyone finished breakfast after that and said thanks to Naomi and waved us goodbye.

"Jason how could I forget my brother? I'm such a terrible sister" I looked up at him once we got to his bedroom.

"No your not. You had fun last night and that's good Avery. You have been to depressed lately. I can feel how lonely and sad you were for the last months avery. That's not good. Your 16 Avery. your suppose to be happy and having fun with friends" Jason looked deep ok my eyes and calmed me down.

I couldn't help but still feel like a terrible sister though for forgetting about him.

"Avery you are not a terrible sister" he sighed.

"How do you keep doing that?" I questioned him. He keeps freaking me out and answering questions from my thoughts that I haven't voiced.

"Avery you do releised that since we mated we can tone in a hear each other's thoughts, right?" Jason laughed at my confused face.

"What?" I asked shocked and felt my jaw drop.

Jason chuckled at my face 'we can also mind link' he said in my head.

I just stared at him in shock. I never knew we could mind link since I wasn't in his pack yet.

"You will be part of the pack soon but since we mated we can now mind link, hear each others thoughts and all that since we mated" he smiled at me and walked towards his closet.

"Now do you want to go to your house to change before we go to the pack prison?" he asked while he got changed.

"Yea sure" I answered absentminded. I was still shocked that I could now mind link with Jason.
