I'll Be With You

Chapter 7

Carl runs outside and grabs Maggie's hand. They run in. I run down stairs to Maggie and hug her. "I'm fine" Maggie says and kisses me on the head "thanks Carl." I hug Carl for saving Maggie and say "thanks." Carl smiles and says "anytime." I look out the window again. "Where's Glenn Maggie?" I say nervously. "He went on a run earlier" Maggie says as she catches her breathe. I feel a little bit better but I still worry. "We need to make it to the armory so we can get weapons" Carl says. "There is no way and we can't risk it with Maggie pregnant and Judith, Carl we just can't make it" I say knowing what could happen. Carl looks me in the eyes and can tell I'm scared so he makes a plan. I go up stairs and shoot walkers to make a path for Carl to run to the armory. The armory isn't but a house away so he has a chance to make it. Carl knows that Rick put a shot gun in the floor boards of his bedroom so we use that. Maggie has two pistols on her so she will help me. Just as we are ready to start our plan we hear a load honk from a truck. Its from outside of the walls and we hope that its Daryl, Rick, and Glenn coming back from their run but its not supposed to be.
