"So, besides family, what do you miss most about being alive?" Tim ask as they lay cuddled up on the couch.

"Gosh, I don't know. There's so much I miss and there's some I don't miss." Adam answers as he gently stokes Tim's hair.

"I miss sleeping." Tim chuckles lightly as he draws small circles on Adam's chest with his finger. "And eating. I loved both."

"I'm really not that surprised." Adam smiles placing a kiss on the demon's forehead. "Yea, I miss sleeping too."

"So you think we're both here for eternity?" Tim ask.

"I don't know." Adam says with a slight shrug of his shoulders.

"I just hope we don't get separated. I don't think I could handle it." Tim says as he snuggles closer to the angel.

"Did you live here in LA before the wreck?" Adam ask.

"Yep, did you?" Tim ask looking up at Adam.

"Yep." Adam says with a sigh.

They lay in silence for a few minute before either spoke.

"So you think we'll run into them?" Tim ask.

"Run into who?" Adam ask turning to fast Tim's blank stare.

"Our families." Tim says with sadness in his voice.

"I'd like to see my brother Chris. To see how he's doing." Adam says softly.

"I'd like to see my mom." Tim says. "You know it's kind of weird that neither of us said our spouses."

"Well, I'm sure that Austin has moved on with his life. I just want him happy." Adam says as he stares at the ceiling.

"Well, I know that Jenika has moved on with Heather. Which doesn't surprise me one bit. What does surprise me is her wanting to have a baby and that my dear best friend Nate is just too happy to oblige. I wanted kids." Tim says sadly.

"I'm sorry, Tim." Adam says while rubbing him gently on the shoulder.

"There's no use crying over spilt milk as they say. There's nothing I can do about it." Tim says with a sigh. "Shouldn't we be heading out for your appointment?"

"Yea, listen, Uh. You don't have to go if you don't want to. You could just wait here." Adam says looking Tim in the eyes.

"Why? Is it with Jenika?" Tim ask and Adam gives him a slight nod. "No, I want to go. I do want her happy. And if this is what it takes." He ends with a shrug.

Adam sighs and rubs Tim's cheek with his thumb and gives him a light kiss. "Alright. Let's go."

They walk out of the apartment building into the busy street. It was rush hour. People crowded the street.

"I'm nervous about seeing her." Tim says as he walks beside Adam.

Adam gives him a sad smile and takes him by the hand, squeezing it lightly.

They walk to a bus stop and standing at the sign was Jenika and Heather.

"Oh crap. There she is." Tim says pointing at the couple.

They walk toward the girls when someone catches Adam's eye.

"Oh my God." He whispers as he turns to follow the person.

"Wait, Adam. Where are you going?" Tim says watching Adam walk in the other direction. He looks back at Jenika and then at Adam. "Adam. Come back!"

The cross town bus pulls up and stops and the girls starts to walk toward it.

"Oh no. No, Jenika! Wait!" Tim shouts. "Adam, she's leaving!" He runs up to her and tries to grab her arm but his hand goes through her.

The girls get on the bus and the bus pulls away.

Tim sighs and drops his head. He turns and head in the direction that Adam had gone. "He can't blame this one on me." He mumbles as he walks.

He walks around the corner where there is another bus stop and sees Adam leaned against the wall of a store.

"Why did you run off? She was right there." Tim says. He stops when he sees the sadness in the blue eyes of the angel.

"Adam, what's wrong?" Tim ask softly.

"It's Austin." Adam says staring at two men sitting on the bench at the bus stop.

"Which one?" Tim ask turning to see the men.

"The one with the long reddish brown hair." Adam says quietly.

As a bus pulls up, the two guys stand up and kisses each other before getting on the bus holding hands.

Tim gnaws at his bottom lip and turns his eyes toward the angel.

Adam sighs sadly and hangs his head.

"Hey." Tim says softly, reaching up and taking some of Adam's hair between his fingers. "I'm sure he mourned. We don't know how long we've been dead. Maybe it's time that he moved on. He looked happy."

"I know. It's just that it." Adam pauses as he stairs at the sidewalk.

"It hurts?" Tim finishes Adam's thoughts. "Sweetie, I know exactly how you're feeling. Come here."

Tim pulls the saddened angel into his arms, kissing him softly on the jaw.

Adam sighs and buries his face into Tim's neck.

They stand on the sidewalk for several minutes in a tight embrace as people passes by.

Tim pulls back a little so he could she Adam's face.

"You alright now." Tim says barely over a whisper.

"Yea, I'm alright." Adam smiles.

"Good, cause you know you just screwed up another job." Tim says raising an eyebrow.

"I did, didn't I." Adam chuckles.

They take each other's hand and start to walk slowly back to the apartment.

"I said it once and I'll say it again. We really suck at our jobs." Tim laughs.
