"Well, I'm impressed. That was some good teamwork." Adam smiles as he kisses Tim on the cheek.
"Good grief. The man was a Viet Nam Vet. He's been through enough, don't you think." Tim says, glancing over his shoulder at the man cramming a doughnut in his mouth.
"No arguments here." The angel answers.
"Feels weird doing something nice for once." Avi chuckles. "Feels like I'm going to get punished for it."
"Not anymore, Bro." Tim smiles. "We're renegades."
"So where are we going?" Avi asks as the three of them makes their way down the street.
"To the corner of Main and Cheatham." Adam answers, looking at his book. "We gotta find Jenika."
"Isn't that a bus stop?" Tim asks. "We lost her once at a bus stop."
"Not this time." Adam says with determination in his voice. "The Big Guy helped me out so I gotta return the favor."
"Wow, must be rush hour. Look at all the people." Avi says. "How are you suppose to find her in his crowd?"
"She'll be with her girlfriend, Heather. Big teeth, glasses." Tim says, scanning the crowd. (Sorry, Heather. XD )
"And she left you for her?" Avi asks.
"No, you might say that I left, permanently." Tim answered. "We kinda had a strange marriage."
"There's a girl with big teeth." Avi points.
"Geez, I didn't say she looked like a horse, Avi." Tim laughs and Avi shrugs with a chuckle.
"Wait. Tim, is that her?" Adam asks as he points to the blond standing in front of a store.
"Yeah." Tim stares at the beautiful blond that was once the love of his life.
"Wow, she's pretty." Avi compliments.
"Yeah." Tim says in a slight whisper as they make their way over to the two girls.
Just as they reach the girls, the two females start to walk away.
"Jenika, Wait." Tim says stepping in front of her.
As Jenika walks through his spirit, she stops and looks around frantically.
"What's wrong?" Heather asks.
"Uh, I just felt like ...... like Tim was here." Jenika says shaking her head slightly.
"I am here, Jenika." Tim says.
"Honey, Tim's gone." Heather says, taking Jenika by the hand.
"NO! I'm right here!" Tim says raising his voice.
"I know, but." Jenika says looking around, tears filling her eyes. "It was like, I felt him here."
"Jenika, Tim is dead." Heather says coldly.
"BACK OFF, B*TCH!" Tim shouts as he tries to shove Heather away.
Heather stumbles back a few steps as if she had lost her balance, unnoticed by Jenika.
"Heather, it's at least 90 degrees but look." She says holding out her arms showing Heather the chill bumps on her arms. "Something is going on."
"It's me, Jenika." Tim says.
"Tim, try touching her or something." Adam suggests.
Tim reaches up and touches her on the face.
She feels her cheek suddenly get cold.
"He's here." She smiles, slowly reaching up and touching her cheek. "I think he just touched me on the cheek."
Heather sighs and roll her eyes.
"Jenika, the drunk is dead and buried 6 feet under." Heather huffs, putting her hands on her hips.
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Tim yells. He's always hated Heather and his hatred is even stronger at the moment.
"Don't you EVER talk about him like that again. Do you hear me?" Jenika says through gritted teeth.
"I sorry, the truth hurts." Heather coldly says.
"Can I smack her?" Tim asks.
"May not do any good." Avi says.
"Tim, did you ever see the movie, Ghost? When he focused or got mad, his energy would allow him to do things." Adam says.
"You mean, if I focus really hard I could knock the sh*t out of her?" Tim asks as he glares at Heather.
"Uh, I wasn't implying that. You shouldn't hit a woman." Adam says.
"She's not a woman, she's a menace. She's always been a thorn in my side." Tim growls.
"I guess it's safe to say that you don't like her." Avi smiles.
"I despise her. She constantly tried to get Jenika to divorce me." Tim says. "But she wouldn't. Despite our lifestyle, we honestly loved each other."
"Tim?" Jenika whispers.
"Oh, come on, Jenika. He's dead and probably rotting in hell where he belongs." Heather says in an annoyed voice.
Rage overtook Tim like a fever. He growled and shoved Heather. She flew off her feet and landed on the sidewalk a few feet away.
Jenika stood in shock, not knowing what to say or do.
"Well, it worked." Avi chuckles looking around at a shocked angel.
"Tim, Baby, don't." Adam says, grabbing the demon by the arm in an attempt to calm him down.
"Adam, don't do it. Please." Tim turns, taking hold of his hand. "We can't let Jenika raise a baby with her. We just can't."
"Honey, it's my job." Adam says as he looks at his lover with apologetic eyes.
A white mist forms in front of them. A huge smile comes across Avi's face as he sees Kirstie appear.
Kirstie smiles and winks at the bearded demon before turning to Adam.
"Change of plans." Kirstie says as she reaches for Adam's book. "This appointment has been deleted."
She waves her hand over Jenika's page and it disappears.
"Really? Why?" Adam asks.
"They're fixing to break up." Kirstie tells them. "So no baby will be needed."
"HALLELUJAH!" Tim shouts and grabs Kirstie into a hug and swings her around.
"HEY!" Avi yells. "You have your own angel. This one is mine."
Tim reaches out and grabs Adam by the hand pulling him into a hug.
Kirstie giggles as Avi wraps her into his arms.
Their celebration was interrupted by a crying Jenika.
"I love you Tim. I miss you so much." She sobs, her face buried into her hands.
