After searching around the cross walk and finding no book, Adam and Tim sit down on the bench.

"What at I gonna do, Tim?" Adam ask, leaning over putting his head in his hands.

"I don't know." Tim says rubbing him on the back. "But at least you know your boss won't punish you. He'll forgive you. It's his job. Maybe he'll give you another one."

A black mass starts to form in front of them.

"Now what." Adam says, raising from his leaned over position.

"Can't be coming after me. I haven't done anything wrong." Tim says as he watch demon Avi appear.

Avi crosses his arms across his chest and glares down at Tim.

"What? What'd I do?" Tim ask with a look of confusion.

"What do you think you're doing?" Avi ask, with a stern look.

"We were looking for.... Uh, something. Why?" Tim ask glancing around at Adam.

"Why weren't you over at East College Court doing your job?" Avi says, still staring at the other demon. "There was a drive by shooting and two teenagers were killed."

"Wait a minute." Tim says pulling his book from his pocket. "I'm not suppose to be at East College Court until tomorrow. Right?" He says holding the book over to Adam.

"That's what it says. Tomorrow at 2:30p.m." Adam reads.

Avi takes the book and reads it for himself. He sighs and hands the book back to Tim.

"Lucifer notified me to go and retrieve the souls because you didn't show up. He's pretty pissed off." Avi says.

"Avi, you have to tell him. The book said tomorrow. It's not my fault. Please you have to tell him." Tim pleaded.

"I'll see what I can do. Maybe I can get in touch with him before he sends anyone after you." Avi says, shrugging his shoulders.

"He's just now healing from the last beating. That was totally uncalled for." Adam says, taking Tim by the hand.

"We do things different in our part of the neighborhood, Angel Adam." Avi shrugs again. "Gotta go and see what I can do." He rolls his eyes and slowly turns back into the black mass before totally disappearing.

"Something is going on here, and it's beginning to freak me out." Tim says, glancing over his shoulder.

"I was just careless and your's is just a misprint or something." Adam says with a heavy sigh.

"How can it be a misprint when Satan wrote the book himself. They don't have a printing office in Hell." Tim says. "And besides..." Tim jumps up and grabs the back of his head, and wildly looks around.

"Tim, Babe. What is wrong with you?" Adam ask with a worried look.

"Someone just tugged on my hair." The demon says, rubbing the back of his head.

Adam looks around seeing no one. "There's no one here. Maybe your hair got caught on your jacket or something."

"No Adam, it didn't get caught on my jacket. Someone pulled it." Tim says looking around, running a hand through the back of his hair. "You think I'm going nuts, don't you."

"No, I didn't say that. I just think there's a simple explanation for it." Adam says standing up.

"So the laugh at the park? How do you explain that?" Tim ask slipping his hand into his back pocket.

"Timmy, there were parents playing with their kids. Their laughter probably just echoed." Adam shrugs.

"Echoed? Really? Whatever." Tim shakes his head and starts to walk off.

"Wait. Where are you going?" Adam shouts to the demon.

"Well, if you're not going to believe that I'm being haunted, I guess we'll just go look for your book." Tim says not stopping his pace.

"I'm sorry if I made you mad." Adam says catching up with him.

"I'm not mad. I just..." He stops suddenly and looks around. "Now I know you had to hear that."

"Hear what?" The angel ask, looking around them.

"That laugh. It was the same damn laugh that was at the park. Adam, you had to hear it." Tim says looking around nervously. "It was loud, like whoever it was, was walking with us."

"Honey, there is no one here." Adam says taking one of Tim's hands in his.

"Adam, why don't you believe me?" Tim ask staring into the angels blue eyes. "I'm not making this up. Why in the hell would I make up something like this? Someone is playing with me and I don't like it."

"Awwww." A voice says near Tim's ear.

Tim quickly grabs Adam's shirt, leaning into him, afraid to look around. He actually felt the breath near his ear.

"Tim? Sweetie what's wrong?" Adam says, wrapping his arms around the demon.

"He's right next to me." Tim whispers.

Adam looks and sees no one. He just kept silent and hugged the confused demon.

"Hey, why don't we go find us an apartment and just relax a while." Adam says, rubbing Tim on the back trying to calm him.

"But what about your book? Shouldn't we be looking for it?" Tim ask, still holding onto the angel.

"Well, like you said, my boss is a forgiving boss." Adam says with a smile. "Now, let's go find us an apartment."

"But what if he follows us?" Tim says, slowly looking over his shoulder.

"Maybe he won't." Adam answers, not knowing what to think about Tim's weird behavior. Maybe this was some sort of punishment from Satan. Maybe he had sent someone to actually haunt Tim since he wasn't doing well at his job.

All he knew was that he needed to calm his demon down and the best way to do that was to snuggle. So he takes Tim by the hand leading him down the street in search of an apartment or even a hotel room.

Tim follows him, quietly for once. Constantly looking over his shoulder, with the feeling that they were being followed.
