The angels appear in the hallway of Hell.
Adam looks down at himself and sees that he is glowing.
"Wow, this is pretty cool. Why am I glowing?" He asks as he examines his glowing hands.
"Duh. You're an angel and you're in Hell. We are superior." Kirstie says as she rolls her eyes.
Adam looks around them to see several demons cowering down and scurrying off.
As they walk up to the huge double doors of Satan's throne room, two very large guards step in front of the door.
"You know better than to mess with us." Olena warns them, raising her eyebrows.
The guards look at each other then step aside, allowing entrance.
The doors to the throne room fly open.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!!!???" Satan growls as he jumps up from his throne. "GUARDS!!!!"
Avi turns quickly toward the sound of the opening doors. His eyes meet with Adam's and a small smile plays on his lips.
"OH SAVE IT, LUCY!" Kirstie chuckles. "You know your precious guards have no hold over us."
She quickly meets Avi's eyes and smiles.
"I know you." Satan hisses as he points his long clawed finger at Adam. He slowly starts to creep down the steps of his throne toward the three angels.
"I'm Adam and I've come to get the demon named Tim." Adam says, bravely.
"Demon? That's a joke." Satan laughs. "He's an embarrassment!"
"Then it shouldn't upset you too much to set him free." Adam says.
"Now, why would I even consider setting the *sshole free?" Satan says as he crosses his arms across his chest.
"Because he's no use to you." Adam replies. "He's not cut out to be a demon."
"Uh, Your Highness? May I speak?" Avi says as he turns toward the massive creature.
"What is it, Avriel?" Satan says as he rolls his eyes.
"You, yourself, Sir. Said that Timothy was contaminated. He had sexual intercourse with an angel." Avi says as he points toward Adam. "His heart is contaminated with love, love for this angel."
"Really?" Olena whispers out of the side of her mouth.
"Yea." Adam answers quietly.
"Was he good?" Kirstie asks in a whisper.
"Oh, yea." Adam smiles. "Very good."
"That's true." Satan says as he rubs his chin, deep in thought. "He is disgusting. Nasty."
The angels and Avi stand in silence waiting for the evil one to speak.
"GUARDS!!" Satan yells. "Bring me that disgusting, poor excuse of a demon, Timothy."
Lucifer glares down at the three angels and snarls.
"You can have the slime. A soul that isn't wanted in Heaven and is rejected from Hell is the lowest of all." Satan growls.
The guards drag an unconscious Tim inside the chamber and throw him to the floor.
Adam gasps at the sight. The two angels bow their heads in sadness.
Avi's eyes widen in shock.
Tim lay lifeless on the floor. His clothes had been stripped from his body. Bruises, deep cuts, and claw marks covered his nude body.
"Not so pretty now, is he, angel." Satan laughs loudly.
Avi sighs and hangs his head. He thought he was protecting Tim. He failed his friend.
"Why so gloom, AVRIEL." Satan laughs as he smacks Avi on the back.
"I just... I thought.." Avi stutters as he couldn't find the words.
"Well, spit it out!" Satan orders.
"I... I just didn't know that you were gonna torture him." Avi says as he stares at the unconscious demon.
"That's what we do here, AVRIEL!" Satan snarls as he moves closer to the demon. "Or have you forgotten that, AVRIEL!"
Avi squeezes his eyes shut and lets go of a shaky breath as the serpent-like tongue flickers out toward his face.
"BACK-OFF! SLIME BALL!!" The angel Kirstie shouts out angrily as she takes a step forward.
Satan hisses and turns in her direction.
"Leave him be." She says in a stern voice.
He snarls as he looks around at Avi. "I'll deal with you later, Avriel." He growls.
"We got to get him out of here." Adam says from his kneeling position by Tim, as he gently rubs him on the head.
The angels nod. Each one reaches down and takes one of Tim's arms, easily lifting him up. They carry Tim outside the throne room.
Adam turns around, his eyes meeting the worried green eyes of Avi. The demon forces a nervous smile and the angel nods a thank you.
Adam turns to follow the angels but as he reaches the door he turns back around.
"Oh, By the way, Lucy." Adam says with a smirk. "I read the back of the book, and you lose."
