Ever since that note was left on my car last week, I've been double checking everything when it comes to Alicia, I literally will not let anything slide. She's sick of me at this point, mainly because I won't let her leave the house if one of my guys or myself is with her, but she doesn't understand. She doesn't understand how crazy Natalie is, and she'll go through hell and back to back to make sure Alicia isn't around.
It was around six o' clock and I was getting ready to leave my office when Alicia walked in.
" Hey, I figured you were hungry so I brought some dinner!" She said with a smile plastered all on her face, God knows how much I adore her.
" Hey, and that sounds great ." I said getting up to take her purse and the bags from her hand as she sat down.
I soon found out that she made Alfredo, broccoli, and garlic bread. She's definitely a keeper.
I spread the food out and fixed both our plates and sat down.
" How was your day?" I asked to start up a conversation again.
" Great, But Leo I think you're taking this whole security thing way too seriously, it's not like someone is trying to kill me or something." She said chuckling. I looked at her like she was crazy, She can be so oblivious sometimes.
" Alicia, someone is trying to hurt you, in some way, shape, or form. And if something happened to you, I would live with that regret the rest of my life, so I'd rather be safe than sorry." I said stuffing my mouth with the food she'd made.
The rest of the dinner was completely silent, now she was making me feel bad, but it's only because I'm concerned.
Alicia P. O. V.
" What are we?" He asked.
I nearly damned choked on this broccoli.
" W- What?" I asked, my palms growing sweaty.
" What. Are. We. ? He asked again, only this time louder.
" I mean we did share a kiss the other day, and we both know that wasn't just anything" he added.
I figured now was my time to speak up, I've wanted this forever and now that the time has come I'm acting like a wuss. But I just couldn't find the words in my mouth.
Alicia, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?" Leo asked .
" Of course I'll be your girlfriend." I chuckled and leaned over and gave him a kiss on the lips.
In that moment, I forgot about all the problems and was just happy to be with the man that made me feel complete. I tried to ignore my feelings for him in the beginning, but I knew in the end my feelings would win, he was toxic to me, and I loved it.
" Cmon, let's clean this up and go home." Leo said taking my Hand standing up from his chair.
We were on our way out the building when a black Cadillac rolled up slowly, and from the way Leo held onto my hand I knew something was about to go down.
The passenger rolled down the window, and all I felt was Leo taking me down first on the ground shielding me from the sound of gunshots bursting through the companies glass Windows.
" Alicia, don't move!!" Leo shouted in my ear as he stayed on top of me.
The only sound I could hear was the screams of people outside screaming as the tires screeched away.
" Baby, are you okay??!!" Leo asked me feeling me everywhere to make sure I was alright.
" Yes I'm fine, are you?" I asked standing up to check him.
" I'm fine, you have to get home now, there's some things I need to take care of." He said. The look he gave me was one I've never seen in his eyes before, a look of pure rage.
I knew not to ask any questions, all I did was shake my head in agreement as I heard sirens in the air.
For the first time ever, I am scared for my life.
