" The Interview"

I literally had two minutes to get out of this damn cab, walk across the street to Garibaldi Co., and be on time for this major interview with Mr. Stephenson who was the co- CEO of the company.

If I get the job, I'll be the secretary of Leonardo Garibaldi, the world - renowned lawyer and CEO of Garibaldi Co.

I quickly handed the cab driver his money and scurried off towards the other side of the street without getting ran over and ran into the huge skyscraper building.

I turned my head and saw the receptionist smiling at me, pretty.

I jogged towards her and she instantly gave me a sheet,

" Ms. Clark, all you have to do is go to the elevator on the left and press the button for level 8, and Mr. Stephenson's office is the first on the right!" She said giving me one last smile which I returned and then she went back to the computer.

Thankfully I caught the elevator in time and was on my way to this interview.

Within the next minute I was seated in a very plush chair across from Mr. Stephenson, who was a very youthful looking black man with stubble across his chin and jawline although it was visible he was in his mid- fifties or so.

" So, Ms. Clark, could you tell me why you would like to work here at Garibaldi Co.?" He asked looking back up from my resume to me.

" Uh, I would like to work here because I really love working in big environments and actually hope one day to become a lawyer." I said letting out a breath I didn't know I had kept in.

" Well, Ms. Clark, I can see that you'll do great for this job and you meet all of the requirements, so welcome aboard and you start Monday!" He said shaking my hand.

" Thank you!" I said grabbing my things and heading back to the elevator.

Feeling the need to congratulate myself, I headed to the nearest Starbucks down the block.

" Hi, what can I get for you today?" Said the cute little teenage boy at the cash register.

" Umm, can a get a double chocolate chip frappe please and my name is Alicia." I said handing a five to the boy whose name turned out to be Jeremy.

I grabbed my drink and was looking down at my cell phone and didn't see a very tall figure right in front of me.

I bumped into him and luckily I didn't spill the coffee. I looked up anddd.....

It turned out to be the sexiest man I have ever seen in my 24 years on this planet dressed in a Black Armani suit and matching shoes. I was too busy checking out his outfit I didn't even realize his face.

" Oh, Sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, are you okay?" I asked looking into these gorgeous greenish- blue eyes with specks of yellow in them he also had dark brown hair and tan skin, if I wasn't mistaken, I'd say he was italian.

He stared at me for a moment and then said,

" Damn right you weren't paying attention to where you were going" he snarled in the deepest, sexiest voice and then began walking off before I stopped him.

" Look, mister, I don't know who in the hell you think you are but I tried apologizing to your rude ass but you just had to make a smart comment and piss me the fuck off! I was now getting stares from everyone in the store but right now I was livid:

" So I suggest the next time someone runs into your giraffe ass and apologizes you better treat them with respect!" I snarled back and walked out to catch a cab home.

Once, I got home, I told Natasha, my best friend, that I got the job and what happened at Starbucks.

" Girl, I would've done the same thing you did!" She yelled from the bathroom.

" Alright, well Marcus and I are going out to dinner, see ya!" She yelled closing the front door behind her while my mind drifted back to sexy yet arrogant hunk from earlier.

I couldn't help but feel like that wouldn't be my last time seeing the guy.
