Prologue (A long time ago)

Hello reader. Thank you for reading my first ever fanfic/Wattpad book. Since this is my first time I will apologize in advance if I break any rules of fanfic if there are any. I will also apologize for any spelling and grammatical errors you may come across. I'm going to try my best.  Feel free to leave appropriate comments and feedback, if you don't that's fine too.   I will to try to update at least once a week.  I also would like to thank thorncandy  for the wonderful cover art.   I hope you enjoy the story.  I'm going to warn you the prologue may be a little slow but once I get into present time things will get more interesting.  Thank you, I hope you enjoy my story of the Jedi Avenger.

Toto Go, a Jedi Knight, was not only a Jedi but an excellent engineer. He worked in the Jedi temple fixing and building starships ever since his accidental lightsaber burn on his leg in the glorious battle of Yavin.  It was then he decided that he was done with battles and missions.  Well if you asked him that's what he would say, what really happened was a little different.  It did involve a glorious battle on Yavin but, he actually got hurt afterwards. He was just a little embarrassed to mention what really happened.  After the battle he was walking through a destroyed battle field of droids with his lightsaber still out.  Partly because it was dark, and partly because he wanted to be ready in case of a surprise attack.  He wasn't paying attention to where he was going and he tripped over a droid leg.  It was just his luck another Jedi was near him with a light saber on.  He tripped and fell on the other Jedi's lightsaber.  Thank the force that the other Jedi sensed him and shut off his lightsaber before it could go completely through his leg.  His leg touched the lightsaber long enough to cause permanent damage.  Considering how bad it could've been he was very lucky that day.  He gave up going on missions because it still hurt to use his leg.  He also figured it would be safer, and he would be less likely to hurt himself again at the Jedi temple.  Because what better place to avoid more lightsaber accidents than the Jedi temple where all the Jedi have lightsabers, and don't forget the younglings who don't really know how to use a lightsaber that well yet.  I guess it's safe to say common sense wasn't one of his strongest suits, good thing he was a talented engineer.

This is why he took up engineering, which he could easily do in a hover chair.  So every day he would clean, fix, and build engines.  Toto never minded the work.  It gave him something to do, and he was better connected with the force by using the force constantly to move heavy objects.  A very useful function of the force that may or may not make some Jedi lazy.  Toto also loved to experiment.  Every day he would spend time mixing chemicals and testing out new products.  Unfortunately when mixing these dangerous chemicals they almost always resulted in a major explosion.  Good thing he was able to stop many explosions before it was too late.  Don't worry he only almost exploded the Jedi temple once, or was it twice, wait no that was his old lab partner.  Toto actually almost blew it up only five or six times.  That doesn't include the times he exploded things that didn't endanger the whole temple.  He lived a sort of simple Jedi life.  If you don't count the explosions, he loved it.   But all of that was going to change.

The day started out normal like any other day.  After a morning meditation (every good Jedi needs at least 2-3 hours of meditation a day), and a quick breakfast he headed out to work.  First admiring the beautiful view of Coruscant.  After admiring the spacecrafts flying by the tower window, Toto walked down to his lab.   Today was a rather exciting day.  It would be his first day off the planet since his injury.  Toto was working on the first ever ultra speed spaceship.  It would be even faster than hyperspace travel, the fastest known way to travel in the galaxy until today.   As he entered the lab the Jedi counsel was there to see him off.  He was glad he had cleaned up the lab after the last experiment.  That type of mess would have been hard to explain to them.   Little did he know in his rush to clean up the experiment last night some of the mixture landed and damaged one of the regulators in his drives.

"A hard and long journey ahead for you Master Toto." Master Yoda informed him.

"We will be here to oversee the liftoff, and Master Kenobi will oversee communications with his apprentice Anakin Skywalker." Mace Windu added walking towards Toto.

Toto nodded and walked to his ship.   It was a medium size ship that was made from a shiny reflective  metal.  It was shaped like a triangle.  At the rear of the ship was thirteen propulsion drives.  He had stocked up the cargo hold with as much food and supplies he could, after all you never want to go hungry.

"You know, if you don't want to do this you don't have to" Mace Windu whispered to him.

"Don't worry I'll be fine, master" Toto assured him waving him off.

"Then I believe that you can do this for I have taught you well, may the force be with you." Master Windu wished him.

"May the force be with you" Toto responded as he boarded.

Just before the doors snapped shut he heard the rest of the Jedi Council say "May the Force be with you".

"All right everything is operational and ready for flight.  Taking off in 3...2...1... lift off!" He yelled over the intercom.  As he lifted off and flew out of the temple.  Unbeknown to him he was getting his last ever view of Coruscant.  Although with all the fires his absence was going to be a relief for the fire suppression droids.  "Activating ultra speed and in ..." he was suddenly disconnected as the ship shot forward never to be seen again in the galaxy.
