Recap:

Web? That means...

"Spider-Man?"

I turned the lights on using the force.  Once I could see again I internally groaned, my apartment looked like Whirlwind decided to take a stroll through it.  It honestly looked worse than when Sphene tore it apart looking for her flash drive.  Which by the way until now I didn't think was possible, but at least she didn't smash everything.  In the middle of all of the ruble; just as confused as I was, stood a familiar red, blue, and web covered hero.

"Amber? Wait you're not Whirlwind." He looked around confused.  I guess I wasn't the only one who got that impression with the mess.

"No..." I trailed off hoping he'd cut me off and explain.

Luckily he did with a nervous laugh and said, "That's weird Fury told me to come here and help a squad of agents capture Whirlwind."

My eyes widened and I rescanned the apartment noticing the SHEILD emblems sewed into the agent's uniforms.  "I'm so screwed," I groaned massaging my forehead.  Great job Amber attacking your coworkers with kitchen utensils is a great way to make friends.

"You'll most likely be fine.  I hate to ask this but do you maybe have a guest or someone over that might be Whirlwind?" He asked uncomfortably.

"No, It's just me and my cousin, and trust me, she's no super villain," I explained.

"Well, this is awkward," he said looking around the trashed room. "I'm going to go talk to Fury and see what's going on." He walked over to the window getting ready to leave.

"Wait, do you mind if I come with you? I should probably talk to him too."

"Sure," He grinned, "I can't believe Fury made a mistake! And he always calls me careless!"

I laughed, "Let's go!" I jumped out of the window, activating my skates in mid-air, and put on my mask.  We rushed through the city street in the direction of the Helicarrier.

Then...

"Watch-" We simultaneously yelled.

WHOOSH!

A gust of wind forcefully knocked us to the ground, slamming us into the concrete.

"Oww, That's going to hurt in the morning," I mumbled as I struggled to get up.

"I think we found Whirlwind." Peter gestured to five mini tornados rampaging down the avenue chasing after the fleeing civilians.

"No kidding, but five at once, he'll tear through the city in no time," I gaped, and he nodded in agreement.

"They'll tear through the city in no time if we don't stop them," He said and ran towards the twisters.

"Wait! Something's off..." I started to say but was distracted by a car heading right at my face, or where it was a second ago as I jumped out of the way.

"We need to get up high, this way we can jump into the center of the tornado and stop him there," Peter explained, "hold on!" He shot a web at me and the next thing I knew we were on the side of a nearby building just out of the range of the tornado.

"Which one do you think he's in?" I asked trying to sense him, but the mass of terrified civilians made it harder to pick out one person.

"I'd guess the middle."

I nodded, it shouldn't be this hard, and I just needed to find the one calm person, so why can't I find him?

"Ready? Three...Two...One-Jump!" Peter urged.
