"You're not going, its a trap," Nat says firmly. I open my mouth to speak but she stops me, "I've seen that look on your face before, you're not going." Her face softens, "Amber, we'll find her."

"In two hours you won't. You're not going to find her, you're going to find me." I decide. "I'm going to go by myself and assuming its a trap they'll turn my cousin lose and take me instead. I'll tell her to come to you and she can tell you any details about her kidnapping that will help you find me."

"Amber that's crazy, you don't know they'll let her go once they have you." Sam snaps.

"Why wouldn't they?"

"Leverage, they want the journals and who knows them better than you, the girl who will do anything for her cousin." Thor shakes his head sadly, "If Loki were still alive I'd do the same"

"Isn't he the one who lead an alien invasion on the city?" I ask confused.

"Loki died a hero, sure he had his ups and downs but we were still brothers," Thor explained.

"So? Then you find both of us," I say stubbornly.

"What if we can't find you in time?" Steve questions.

"I have faith in you guys."

"One thing is having faith in the team, another is being reasonable Amber, it's not worth the risk."

"No, it's not worth risking my Cousin!" I shouted getting angry, "Something I'm not going to do." And I turn on my heal and walk out of the room before I could get anymore rilled up. I have to save her why can't they understand that?

I hide on the roof of the tower, there is still an hour left, half an hour before I head to my apartment. I stare out on the city laid out beneath me. I watched all the cars passing and honking at each other. I wished my cousin was here with me she'd love this view. Perhaps I should tell her, I know my mom was adamant that I didn't tell anyone about being a Jedi but after all of this she deserves to know.

If they want me they're going to get me one way or another, I decide. By throwing the robot in Avengers tower they were telling me two things. One they know both of my identifies, and two, I'm not going to be safe anywhere. There is a small chance that whoever it is will take the journals and leave but when did I have that kind of luck.

Sighing I looked around for Toto, I could really use his advice, but he wasn't around and when I softly called his name there was no response. Too bad he didn't explain how to summon Force ghosts or whatever he is classified as in his notes.

I reached for the book only to realize that I didn't have them. I think my heart skipped a beat as I frantically jumped up and ran inside.

"Where are they?" I nearly yelled at the team who has assembled (no pun intended) in Bruce and Tony's lab.

Tony sighed, "Here, we were just making photocopies." He hands them to me and I cradle them to my chest.

"Does this mean you're letting me go?" I ask carefully.

"Yes, Steve talked us into it," Clint explained.

I raised an eyebrow at him.

"I kept thinking about what I would do if it was Bucky."

"Bucky?"

"His old world war two buddy," Sam answered, "It's a long story but he's alive but no one knows where."

"After all of this, I'll see if I can help you," I promised grinning.

"One more thing, you have five minutes to do the exchange before we come after you, no arguments," Tony added as he went back to his computer.

"Fair enough." I went to look over his shoulder seeing he was looking at the street of my apartment. Its good to know they have my back.

I anxiously grip the journals as I wait for them to arrive. Until now it hadn't dawned on me that I was about to give away a huge part of my family's history. I had no more time to dwell on it because the force signaled to me someone was coming.

"Amber!" It was Toto who looked panicked, can a ghost be out of breath?"Amber its a..."

Then I felt a syringe in my neck and everything spun around before going black. Trap it is then.
