CHAPTER FOUR
Val hasn’t seen Zendaya for the past three days. He asked Marissa once where she was and she told him she found job at the coffee shop and she had some trial days. Val didn’t know making coffee was that complicated but in these days you could expect everything.
It wasn’t like he missed her or actually he did but he didn’t want to admit that out loud. He know her shorter than anyone in his life yet he seemed to not be able to stop thinking about her.
There was so much of mistery in her and it made him feel like he needs to do everything to solve every puzzle of her life. He smiled at her a lot but he never got one back. He wondered why, he saw her smiling before at her aunt and kids but that was eat. She was polite and you could see warm in her eyes but her lips never formed a smile.
The thing you should know about Val is that he loved challanges, anytime anyone gave him one he was more than happy to do it. Overcoming your weaknes made you better and stronger and that’s what he wanted to be. He was passion about a lot of things but mostly dance, he wanted to be the best for sure but he also wanted to express himself in dance, he wanted to give people chills with his performances, it was all challanges for him and he loved it.
All the teachers had a break now and Val walked out from his office just to see his brother Maks, Marissa and Anna on the couches talking and laughing. He came up to them.
"Hey bro, what’s up?" Maks asked looking up at him.
"Not much just tired of the paper work." He collapsed on the one empty couch.
Maks was sitting on the big armchair while Anna was sitting on the little two couple couch with Marissa. They were drinking coffee and water.
"It sucks why can’t we hire someone to do that? I am a dancer not a paper guy." Val whined rubbing his eyes. His eyes really got tired of all the work he has done.
"We can’t hire different person to do all little things Val, don’t worry next time I will do the paper work." Maks leaned to him and tapped his arm. Val looked at him and nodded knowing that his brother had a good point.
"You are a grumpy man recently Val." Anna joked changing the subject.
It was true for the past days Val was more tense and you could say he was a little bit grumpy.
"Should Marissa asked her niece to come more often?" Anna decided to tease Val a little bit.
She noticed before that around Zendaya Val was smilely and his eyes were sparkling but since she hasn’t been a guest here he was like gushed down not sad or anything but more quite and toned.
"What?" He asked not knowing where it all was coming from. He raised his eyebrow at Anna and she just shrugged laughing.
"Bro relax she is just messing around but maybe you would use her company." Maks winked at him.
Maks met Zendaya and he totally liked her straight away. He wondered like everyone else why she never smiled but he wasn’t bother with that. Even without that she was nice and warm person and a good one to be around, there was just something about her that brought people to her. She had that energy in her even if she was trying to put it down you could see it shining through her.
While everyone was deep in the conversation the door suddenly opened and no one else but Zendaya walked in. They all snapped their heads at her.
She wasn’t happy, more than that she was pissed and looking at her soaking with coffee clothes she had reason.
