CHAPTER TWO

Zendaya was standing in the most crowded place she could ever imagine. She wasn’t sure what was that all rush about traveling, yes she loved long drives with her parents to certain places but planes weren’t exactly her thing. She wasn’t scared but it gave her weird feeling in stomach.

"Are you sure of this Z?" Her best friend, Jess asked her while holding her hand.

It was hard for two best friends to say their goodbyes. No matter how Zendaya acted and who she was lately, Jess loved her more than anything, she was hurting as well but she deeply believed that, Zendaya would find peace that she needs in New York.

"No." Zendaya shook her head. She wasn’t sure, heck she had more doubts than she tought she would have but after sleepless night she realized this was her only chance to catch her life back. She didn’t have much hope but whatever lefts she had she put them all in that trip.

"It’s going to be fine." Jess didn’t wait any longer. She wrapped her long arms around best friend’s neck and she hold her tight, feeling tears coming to her eyes.

"You gonna visit right?" You sould barerly heart stuttering Zendaya’s voice. This moment was really hard for her and she had to put everything in herself to not change her mind, to not turn around and simple give up. But then with the last of concious she had she knew it wasn’t who she was, she had to try, her mopping around was enough for everyone. She was sad but she didn’t want to be.

"Of course as often as possible." Jess pulled away few inches just to look at Zendaya and smile. This promise has been made and it won’t be broken cause you never broke promise that you gave to someone so important to you.

"Alright sweety it’s time for you." Rebecca gently tapped Zendaya’s shoulder. After one last squeeze girls let go of each other both now with eye in tears.

Zendaya excanged a lot of hugs with words of engouragment with the rest of the family and soon she disapeared from their view. She was going to start a new life in one of the most scarest place for her but if that’s what she needed to fix her heart than she was ready for it, or at least that’s what she tough.

After few hours of flight she landed safely. She felt reliefed that flight was over, even if she had a nice lady sitting next to her who talked to her from time to time, place where she really left safe was ground.

She picked up her bag waiting in not that long line and get out through the gate. The second she stepped out she saw her dark medium-lenght haired aunt Marissa who had the biggest smile you could imagine.

"Daya!" She screamed running to her. “My baby is here!" She didn’t waste a second to grab Zendaya and pull her into tight hug. “Oh how I missed you sweetie." She rocked them a little bit back and forth.

"I missed you too aunt." Zendaya said honesly wrapping her arms around her aunt. She was happy to see her, she felt like she was the only person that truly understood her. She lost both parents too and even if she was younger, somehow Zendaya related to her.

"How was the flight?" Marissa said after pulling away but still holding her niece.

"It was short thank God." Zendaya left out a little smile. Yeah she still managed to do that but that smile was only reserved for her aunt and little kids. She loved kids more than anything. Before the accident of her parents she started job as assistant in kindergarten. It wasn’t a lot but for her it meant everything. Kids had that somethin special about them that they bright up her mood the second she looked at them and she couldn’t hold her smile.
