CHAPTER ELEVEN

They both looked amused at the person who appeared. Val’s hands were still tight around Zendaya’s waist as she hold her on his arms. They had no intention to let go of each other.

"Really Val? I tought you have a little bit more class." Vanessa said looking at Zendaya and frowning a little bit.

Val opened his mouth but before he could say anything he heared words coming from person next to him.

"Excuse me?" Zendaya narrowed her eyebrows as she felt a little anger filling her body but she kept telling herslelf she was better than that.

"You are excused." She smirked right at her.

That’s when she crossed the line. Zendaya let go of Val but he didn’t “Don’t.” He whsipered to her. “That’s exactly what she wants.” He looked at Vanessa not hiding that she really pissed him off.

"Well then she will get it." She pushed Val gently and walked up closer to Vanessa. "Who do you think you are? Coming here and offending me" She for sure entered her personal space.

"Well if you got offended then I must be speaking the truth." She folded her arms.

"No I am offended cause you are speaking the bullshit." Zendaya’s eyes were staring right into Vanessa’s one "And it’s kinda funny cause the person without class? I am looking at her right now." She smirked gently.

Vanessas eyes darken a little bit, you could see she was really touched with what she heard and she didn’t like it at all.

"Listen you little bitch, you think you can come here and steal what is not yours? Well think twice cause it’s not gonna happen." Pissed Vanessa said through her teeth.

"Look who is hurt now." Zendaya stepped back with vicotry smile on her face. "I don’t think it’s up to you." Zendaya turned to side to look at Val who was just there standing bit close enough to her ready to protect her with his own body. She found it really adorable. The look on his face also said that he didn’t like what was going on here but he let Zendaya do her thing. "And what is between us is definitley not your business. You had your chance now please back off." She gave her warning look.

"I am not afraid of you whore." Her voice was full of venom.

"That’s enough!" Val stepped next to Zendaya glaring intensily at Vanessa. "You said enough Vanessa, it’s time for you to leave." He said looking at the doors.

"What?" She looked at him acting surprised.

"Just leave okay? No one wants you here." He sighed. "Leave me alone and mostly leave her alone, what we had is gone and it’s not her fault if you want to be mad at someone look in the mirror." He took Zendaya’s hand. "Come on babe." And just like that they left mad to the point of boiling Vanessa.

"Are you okay?" Val whispered to Zendaya as they were on the way back to the table.

"I am fine." She tried to put a smile but this conversation affected her a little bit, she couldn’t lie it was nothing.

Val could sense that and he didn’t want to leave things unspoken, he wanted to find out what was going through her hand right now, every little tought, it was really important to him.

"We can leave if you want?" He hoped she would say yes and they would have some time alone but knowing Zendaya and how polite she was, well expect that moment with Vanessa he knew her answer straight away.

"No, it’s fine." She wrapped her arm around his neck and when he looked at her she gave him qucik peck. "Let’s not bother with that and enjoy the rest of the night." She smiled but this time she made sure to make it look honest.

Val nodded but he didn’t believe in that smile. He really get to know Zendaya through even that short time, but he decided to let it go and maybe try to talk to her later.

They made it to the table where everyone looked at them. 

"Finally! It took you a while." Maks said winking at them as everyone laughed shortly.

"Yeah sorry something stopped us." Val said leading Zendaya to her sit and taking the one next to her.

"Something?" Anna asked raising her eyebrow.

"Yeah more like someone." Zendaya mumbled under hear nose.

"What happened?" Alex asked. "And where is Vanessa?" Everyone suddenly got really curious.

"That’s exactly it. She happened." Zendaya said not being able to hold it anymore.

"Daya…" Val said quietly but for his luck everyone got really quite as they all were starring at them so it was obvious everyone could hear them. He rolled his eyes. "Not here okay?" He asked her. He really didn’t want to go through this infront of everyone.

"But why not Val?" She turned to look at him. "They are all your friends right? Do you have anything to hide from them?"

"I have nothing to hide but this is personal, between you and me, you really want to talk about it here right infront of everyone?" He raised his eyebrow. "Like you said they are my friends so you will be the one embarrassed here." Val didn’t know what happened but her attitude pissed him. He didn’t do anything and she was making some scene, so he simply lost it.

Zendaya looked at him not believing what she just heard, she opened her mouth but close it. Everyone suddenly found their glasses or purses or anything that they could reach not more interesting.

"Can you guys excuse me for a second?" Zendaya raised from her seat and without even waiting for reply she went outside to catch some air.

"Contragulations you moron!" Maks said patting the back of his head.

"What the hell? What was that for?" Val asked holding his head.

"For being a moron!" Maks repated rolling his eyes.

Everyone looked at him like they were disappointed even Alex shook his head gently.

"You know Val, you might be my boss and I respect you but she is my niece, my family and besides me she doesn’t have anyone here and she mostly likey has nothing waiting for her in LA. You should know that more than anyone and right now you just made her feel like she has nothing and no one here as well." Marissa said standing up. "As quickly as you made her smile as qucikly you fucked this up." 

She wanted to go check on Zendaya but Anna stood up grabbing her arm. “Can I go please?” She really wanted to be the one comforing her, she had a feeling it was better for Zendaya if she was the one going after her.

"Okay just make sure she is fine please." She gave Anna a little smile.

"Will do." Anna said before walking away.

Val just looked down and then he realized it was all his fault, he really was a moron and douchbag and he deserved all the looks he was getting from his friends.

"Anna wait!" He called after her.
