CHAPTER NINETEEN
When Zendaya opened her eyes, she realized it was already morning. She yawn and sat up on the couch. She looked around and noticed that she was covered with blanket but she still had her clothes from yesterday.
It took her a while to focus on noises and smells that were coming from kitchen. She uncovered herself, stood up and walked lazily into the kitchen rubbing her eyes gently. She could still feel tiredness in her body.
When she walked to the kitchen she saw two happy people cooking some breakfast. She leaned against the door.
"What time is it?" She asked surprising both of them.
They looked at the door at sleepy person while they smiles grew bigger.
Val walked up to his girlfriend and kissed her softly.
"Morning sleepy head." He smiled at her pulling away just an inch. "It’s 11." He kissed her again this time a little bit longer as he was holding some plate in hand.
Zendaya smiled thru the kiss as she put her hand on his back rubbing it gently. “I think I could use to this.” She focused only on Val as he was looking down at her grinning.
"Oh yeah?" He raised his eyebrow as he leaned down to kiss her neck. She giggled sweetly pushing him away gently.
"Excuse me there is a third person in the room that feels really awkward adn left out right now." Marissa said laughing shortly.
It’s true, Val sometimes made Zendaya forget about the real world and everything that was around them simply because she felt so good being with him, it was a feeling that she couldn’t compare to anything else. The last time she felt that good was with her parents, whe sne felt loved and safe.
"I am sorry auntie." Zendaya said guilty, passing Val and walking up to Marissa. "Good morning." She kissed her cheek. "How are you feeling today?" There was a concern in her voice.
"Im better today thank you babe." She gave her niece a side hug as she was working on eggs on her pan.
"Are you sure?" Zendaya looked closely at her aunt, trying to read the real answer from her face but when she turned to her and send her smile an honest, warm smile she knew her aunt was speaking the truth and it made her smile too.
"Okay" Zendaya nodded and left Marissas side. "I guess that means I can leave you two?" She asked looking from her aunt to Val.
"Leave? And where do you think you are going?" Val narrowed his eyes putting plate away.
"I just need to do some stuff." She wanted to give Val the look, meaningful look that it was about her aunt.
"Some stuff?" Marissa asked not convinced by her words.
"Yeah just some stuff, it won’t take me long." She smiled at her aunt and than she looked back at Val. "I will be back before you know." She put her hand on his chest pressing her body lightly to his.
"Okay." He said and kissed her lips. "He reached to his pocket. "Take my car." He hand her keys.
"No, that’s not necessery I will take the bus." She shook her head trying to refuse him polietly.
"That’s not really an ask babe, just take it okay?" He said calmly but surely. With the tone of voice you know you don’t argue.
Zendaya knew Val had that dominative side and as much as he tried to control it and not show it to much it was always there but she didn’t really mind. He cared about her and he never made her do anything plus it was just a car not a big deal.
