Fix a Heart

chapter thirteen

She stepped into the apartment after Val unlocked the door. He let her go first like a real gentelman and she smiled while passing him.

He closed the door behind them, locking it. Somehow it made Zendaya a little bit nervous but she decided to keep that feeling inside of her as it was Val, just Val who she knew enough to absolutely trust.

She kicked off her high heels feeling relief to her feet. 

"I don’t know why girls torture themself in those shoes." Val said standing right behind her.

She laughed gently. “To look good and to make men want them more than they already do.” She looked at him over the shoulder and winked.

"Well for me it’s not necessery, if I want someone I know that instantly." She could feel his hands wrapping around her stomach and she smiled as her cheeks lightly went red.

She put her hands on his, tilting her head to the back. “Good to know next time I won’t make so much effort.” She joked.

"Woah who said I want you babe?" He said humorously.

She elbowed him gently. “Asshole.” She had smile on her face but she tried to get away from him and when she untangled from him and tought she was free he spun her around.

"Come back here." And that’s when her chest hit his.

He had grin on his face and his eyes were focused on her lips and he slowly but surely leaned in capturing her lips into his.

The kiss first slow and innocent turned into deep and passion as he opened his mouth pressing on her lips more. It was hell sexy for her and she couldn’t stop her heart beating faster and faster.

As she tought he will bit her lip and ask for the access to her mouth he pushed away smirking. 

"I want you and only you, you should know that." He kissed her one more time. "So are you hungry?" He let go of her walking to the kitchen.

She stood there for second trying to catch the her breath and put her mind together then she slowly turned away seeing Val leaning against the counter in the kitchen with his arms crossed.

He was looking straight at her with that big smile on his face, he was teasing her so much and he had an amazing fun out of it.

She walked by the kitchen straight to the living room, she wanted to explore apartment a little more. While she was on her way she looked at Val. “No I am not.” And she started to walk around the apartment.

It wasn’t huge like you could get lost in it, but it was enough for at least two people and she guessed that once Val and Vanessa lived here. She didn’t know why her brain brought her up but while it did she smiled knowing that she was the one with him alone right now not her.

Everything was design as a guy would do it but in really good taste. Colors were mixed black with some light brown. Suprisingly Zendaya liked it here.

She sat on the couch making her feel comofortable and in less than second she was joined by Val with two drinks in his hand. She looked at him and glass that had light blue color and she raised her eyebrow.

"It’s home-made drink invented by me, just try it." He gave her the glass.

She looked at it for a second before taking it out off his hand. He smiled at her.

"Cheers." He raised it to the air and she nodded.

They both took a sip, Zendaya bigger then she meant too but surprisingly it tasted so good that she took another and another.
