kylo's pov
I stand outside of her room for a while, unsure of what I was feeling. I wanted-no needed, to be angry with her. Cassandra was my padawan, I was supposed to be more powerful than her. But I knew since I first came in contact with her that I was not and the visions I have experienced lately confirmed my fear.
I had seen flashes of an unknown place. The visions have shown me thick forests that were so green that they seemed fake, mountains that touched a purple sky, and a throne that sat upon a hill, the throne rusted with age. Upon that throne sat Cassandra, eyes blackened by makeup and wearing a dress of a color so black, it seemed to absorb any light around it.
It was always the same vision. She would catch sight of me and an unnatural feeling of coldness would settle between us. Then she would approach me, her feet barely touching the ground, and just stand there, staring at me. All I could focus on was how she was at that moment, terrifyingly beautiful. Everything about her was perfect from her bare feet to the last curl that fell out of the bun on top of her head.
"You have changed since the last time you have come. What shall I call you?" The same question asked every time. In the same cold, dead voice. She had been changed, her old self destroyed by an unknown force.
My lightsaber had found its way to my hand and I had unconsciously destroyed a control panel in my anger, leaving an officer cowering in the corner.
"Ren!" A curt voice pierces the air. I roll my eyes under my mask before turning slowly to face Hux, his face almost as red as his hair. "Supreme Leader wishes to speak with you. And stop destroying my ship, it's bad enough your padawan still cannot control herself from almost crushing us. Again."
I resist every urge in my body to bring harm to him as I watch him stalk away, his coat billowing behind him.
I huff angrily as I make my way to the transmission room. I enter it quickly, finding the projection of Snoke already there to greet me. I hurry up the steps to the small platform, kneeling down.
"You summoned me." I state, standing slowly.
"General Hux has informed me that your padawan is out of your control. Perhaps I should move the completion of her training." His voice sent a shiver down my spine, making my hair stand on end.
"She is under control. Lady Aldaine just had a moment of unbalance which caused her judgement to become clouded. It will not happen again." I answer quickly.
"I know where you hold her Ren, I sense it everyday. She is distracting you." Snoke states. My shoulders slump slightly in defeat but I stand my ground.
"Forgive me Supreme Leader. My feelings towards her have not clouded my vision. I feel as if she has helped me come closer to achieving my goal. Helped me become stronger." I answer, confident in my words.
Snoke considers what I just said for a moment before speaking again. "You have been having visions. Is she in them?"
I nod slowly. "She is different. Someone has changed her. Cassandra is the embodiment of the Dark side in my vision."
"The princess does have the potential to be just that. Prepare for her departure immediately. She leaves in two days. And Ren, do not lose sight of what matters"
With that, the hologram fades and I'm left alone. I shut my eyes and take a deep breath, clearing my head. Snoke was right, I needed to focus on my goal.
I turn and stride out of the room, a plan in my mind. I briskly walk down the maze of halls for a while before coming to the door of my quarters. I pause before opening my door though. I sensed someone inside. I threw open the door and gazed inside the dimly lit room, searching for the intruder.
